About Dr. Marlene Scott
I was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica. I attended Vaz Prep (elementary) and Ardenne High School in Kingston. My family and I migrated to New York, USA where I completed, high school and college. I completed a terminal degree in Administration and Supervision from George Washington University in 2002. My family now resides in Virginia. We visit Jamaica twice each year now that my husband and I are retired.
Dr. Marlene Scott purchased this House in 1961
Why Dr. Marlene Scott chose Kingston
I grew up in this home as a child. My mother lived in this home most of her life, until she moved to Florida. My brother, sister and I now share ownership of this property and enjoy sharing it with our guests from around the world.
What makes this House unique
My immediate family, cousins, friends and siblings all have enjoyed living or spending time in this cozy home. The mountains directly behind this property beckon you to climb it. It has protected the neighborhoods lying below it from severe storms for decades. This home has withstood many hurricanes because of our protector, the mountain range! Sit on the front porch and watch the sun go down; listen to the beats of the Jamaican rhythm and smell the aromatic, authentic foods permeating the pleasant air.
