Upon graduating from the Faculty of Political Science at Ramkhamhaeng University I entered the hospitality industry. My most recent position was as the Executive Housekeeper at Le Meridian Phuket Beach Resort, a long established and prestigious hotel here on Phuket. I enjoyed the different challenges each day brought however, after 23 years, the time was right for me to branch out and start my own small business.
I started a spa business. Firstly, at Phaya Thai Hospital before relocating to Land and House sports club. By fostering an excellent working relationship with local tour guides I was able to rapidly grow this business. The popularity of the spa coupled with the constraints of the site posed some logistical problems and as such, we once again relocated to our present-day position.
The Trantara Spa was born and for more than 20 years has been an overwhelming success story. We were the first day spa operating in Phuket offering services such as Foot Massages, Oil Massages, Herbal Ball Thai Massages, Aroma Essential Oil Massages and many more. We also run a popular Thai cooking class to educate our customers about the intricacies and delicacies of Thai cuisine. What better way to remember a holiday in Thailand that by taking knowledge and cooking skill home with you? So you can savour the tastes and smells of Thailand even whilst many miles away.
Our Spa also offers occasional special activities for our guests to attend such as Loi Krathong night the Thai festival of light that is held annually and usually falls in November (it is bases on the Thai lunar calendar). Our spa is located very close to Phuket most famous Buddhist temple Wat Chalong. Indeed, many of our guests like to visit the temple and soak in the culture of Thailand before retreating and unwinding tin the relaxing surroundings of Trantara Spa.
