Steamboat summer excursion!
Checking instructions were spot on even if Waze lead us a block too far. Google and apple came through for the win! Wonderful location! Quick walk to the base of the resort for activities and hiking all over! The unit was clean and well stocked! I don’t feel the pictures quite grasped how quaint this place really is. Thank you Jason! Will have to keep this place in mind for our next steamboat experience!
Great on mountain condo
Clean fully functional kitchen
Clean king bed, soft sheets, soft pillows
Plenty of towels
Hot tub, no pool
On the ski resort but not ski in/out
Glad you enjoyed the Condo. As noted in the listing it is a ski-in/walk-out Condo, and one of the best ski locations in Steamboat. It is difficult to see the ski path up to the building once the snow has melted. You merely have to walk across a street to get onto the runs, but you can ski right up to the building.
Summer Stay-Nice location-great property mgr help!
Overall it was an ok property. Very clean and well appointed with items needed for cooking! Nice King Sized bed and living room. The property managers were very responsive and stayed with us when the internet was out. They made sure it was fixed and were very helpful and friendly! On the could be better side, the condo is rather dark and we would have appreciated better lighting to do my knitting and reading and to brighten the place up. No lamps were available and bulbs were all low wattage and not very useful in the living area. We were extremely disappointed to learn that our unit was one of the units without A/C as temperatures were very warm while we were there. The condo was hard to stay in until after 7 pm because of the heat and the fans had minimal impact. We had to sleep with open windows, which was very hard on my allergies, so sadly it became a health issue for me. Next time, I'll need to get explicit details for the unit I rent instead of the general "many units do not have A/C" statement. Parking was fine until the weekend! We had to park 4 buildings away and walk up the hill to our building. So it seems there is not enough parking if the building is full like it was then! The access instructions were very good.
I had a great time at Storm Meadows Unit 410. The location on the mountain is perfect and the condo is truly a ski-in as you literally ski or board right up to the back door of the building. To begin your day, it's a short 50 yard walk to click on your skis or strap on your board and head to the base area to ride the gondola or Christie chair lift. The unit is a short five minute walk to all of the restaurants, bars, and shops at the base area, which makes it an excellent value. It was clean and had a very comfortable king bed. The living space is cozy and the kitchen is nicely updated. I will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend firstname.lastname@example.org!
We loved our condo and the service!
We loved our condo and the service! It was very clean and the bed was comfy. The hot tub was awesome and deep just outside with a great view. Trip was super sweet and helped me above and beyond when I hurt my knee. The shuttle was awesome and Gordon was friendly and flexible giving us extra time to soak at the hot springs. Jason made sure everything was set and answered all my questions prior to arrival so we knew what to do and expect. We cant wait to come back.
When we arrived at the condo I was a little bit disappointed that it did not have a front looking out over the ski slope. Instead we had a site view. The condo is a little outdated but you can't beat the location. Only crossing the narrow street in the morning to put on skies, and returning in front of the door, makes this a great location! Restaurants are nearby and when we were there the building is very quiet.
