Lovely little house at a great price.

My friends and I loved the quaint architecture of the house. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there.

The owners were very helpful answering a few questions that I had.

I would stay there again. :)

Wedding House

Quaint Charming House.. perfect house for "The Parents of the Bride" to set up base camp for our Daughters Wedding at Gonzaga, great location, easy for out of town guests to find, and super spacious for us to drop off, pick up, all our Wedding essentials that we brought from Seattle, were so glad we chose this house rather than the Davenport Hotel..seriously..nice to have our own little get away house. :) Had everything we needed, and not overly decorated, nice clean open spaces, sometimes less is more !

Loved the house!

We absolutely loved the house! It was so cozy and inviting. It was absolutely the perfect place to stay for our weekend. We were conveniently located (daughter was playing in a volleyball tournament at the Spokane Convention Center), and it was great to come back to the house and just relax. :) Thank you so much!

Great fit for our family.

We really enjoyed our stay here. John and Erica were great hosts. House had everything we needed and more. The area is close to everything. Loved the off street parking.

Horrible

There was a big leak in the bathroom and the owner never came by. I had to beg him to send a plumber immediately and he was able to get one for the next morning, but it was horrible, the leak even went into one of the bedrooms. Mostly none of the windows would open! Bathroom has no fan or ventilation what so ever, No blender, Carpet in living room discharges thick fibers(not fun). There is a wooden hole near the table covered with a carpet, very dangerous. On the stove only two burners worked. There is wooden floor in the whole house and they have a broom. Get ready to sweep all day! Not a good landlord. Beware there is no smoke alarms. Be ready to rent with other people because they rent upstairs and downstairs. I had to run out of there. This rental is not homey at all. The chairs for the dinning table are so uncomfortable and wobbley. I give this home zero stars....... I truly wouldn't recommend renting this place. I will NEVER come back to this home.

Owner's Response: What this guest fails to mention is that she lied on her reservation - booking for 2 was actually 8 (more then we allow). We learned the truth after questioning her on a serious noise complaint from a neighbor. Being told she had too many guests and to be quiet made her feel uncomfortable and unhappy. A leak did occur and was repaired in less then 24 hrs. The complaints in this guest’s review are untrue, inaccurate, and exaggerated. This home is safe, comfortable and clean with a great Gonzaga location just as all the other reviews illustrate.

Awesome! particularly the very comfortable beds!!

I lived in Spokane 30 years ago and in many ways miss the town and it's environs.

We made the trip back and stayed at the Reynoso's home on the near north side.

While many consider this the older part of Spokane, it has an inherent charm one will probably

not find in any other part of Spokane.

The home, built in the 40's (we ascertained this from an inscription on the back steps) is comfortable and well kept.

The floors are hardwood which we prefer and there is plenty of room.

Our only negative is that there is only one bathroom making it a challenge for a couple at times.

It has a huge backyard and is close to restaurants, gas stations, and a short drive downtown.

It is a typical 40's bungalow and John and Erica keep it up well. (The grass is cut once a week and the yard is

large and a comfortable rest during the day.

Yes. It is dated, but that is also part of its charm.

The Reynoso's keep the bath tissue and paper towels well supplied.

Overall it's a comfy experience and that's what we look for when renting through Home Away.
