Welcome to my 5-story, built-green Live/Work loft! Please READ CAREFULLY so you can determine if my space is a good fit for your needs.

This is a true Seattle urban loft experience unlike any hotel you will find. TO BOOK YOU MUST RESPOND THAT YOU UNDERSTAND MY NOISE POLICIES AND LIST AN ACCURATE NUMBER OF GUESTS.

Most of my guests love this loft but it's not perfect for everyone! This is a very open, tall, funky, "built green", industrial private residence - the floorboards are recycled MDF, the second bathroom is a "wet room" shower (see below) and I have 5 levels of stairs and spaces.

This modern, roomy space is offered exclusively to professionals or *QUIET*, calm, low-impact groups. I love this area because even though it is close to the action, it's still a calm area in a modern, peaceful community.

I have ONE COMPACT parking space available for free. Larger vehicles may park in the surrounding neighborhood, usually there is plenty of free parking. I suggest not renting a car and instead using Lyft/Uber, our bus (at our front door!) and our new street car - I can even pre-load a transit pass for you upon request.


I'm sorry, but my neighbors and I will NOT tolerate any noisy groups or partying in any of the units. (Noise complaints from neighbors will result in a $250 fine.) My suggestion is that you look farther south or north outside the urban density found in Central Seattle and double check with the host about your plans.


Back to the fun stuff! This loft soars 5 stories tall and the spaces are separated by flights of stairs. The different levels give guests room to have some space of their own for sleeping, the large & open living area has a big 50" TV and room to gather for meals and games.

NOTE: What is listed by Airbnb's system as a "3rd bedroom" is a second COMMON AREA. It is separated by staircases from the 1st floor and the 3rd floor. It also contains the poker table and the computer on the same floor. This floor may also be easily converted to a working office space as seen in photo #15.

The 5th floor bathroom (en suite to the master) is the large bathroom shown in the photos. The 4th floor bathroom is a "WET ROOM" bathroom - essentially the shower is not separate so the whole room becomes a shower! Wet rooms are a contemporary trend here in Seattle and might be familiar to people who travel to high density areas.

Yesler is a major arterial running from Lake Washington to Puget Sound and has easy access to bike lanes, scenic bike routes and the I-90 bridge. The loft has room to store your bikes indoors. I am expecting 2 electric bikes, a couple regular bikes and 2 Urbe scooters by April for guest to use for free. (Separate waiver & refundable deposit required.)

This Loft is great for:

* Business travelers who want space to work or relax

* Quiet groups and families - (again, no parties or non-residential noises)

* Fans who want to attend games at Safeco or CenturyLink Fields

I'll meet you at the loft when you arrive at 3pm and give you a tour and your key. You may park at the dedicated compact spot in the courtyard of our building (watch out for little kids!) If you have a larger group, let me know how many singles / double you have so I can make up your extra beds as needed.

Cleanliness is something I take very seriously. The unit is professionally cleaned and inspected by me after each guest checks out.

Across the street is Pratt Park - with covered meeting areas for functions, picnic tables with BBQ grills or just to hang out at the playground. In the summer there is a little water play feature for the kids.

My loft is not the appropriate place to party or host any events, please book a different property if you believe the noise policy won't work for you or are planning an event. If you are traveling on business and would like to use the space for co-working while you are in town, please let me know in advance. Sorry, no video or photography productions allowed.

My son and I go each year to visit our family in Portugal. We love to travel! And we take that trip as an opportunity to visit a new place each year. I always look for a place to stay that has great character and can give me an idea of what it would feel like to live there.

Seattle is my adopted city. I moved here in '94 (right out of RISD) and am originally from Austin. I love the temperate summers (except, where are the temperate summers??) It's a great city, just don't tell anyone.

You have FIVE LEVELS of space to stretch out and get comfy and a full pantry in case you're hungry. I welcome quiet, tidy guests.

What makes this townhome unique

There aren't many properties like this loft. We are a green-certified, award-winning urban live + work space. and offer a clean, modern space that can work for executives, groups, families and events. The space has 5 levels for living, sleeping, eating and playing (Pop-a-Shot basketball hoop game and a poker table for you to enjoy). Kitchen is stocked with treats and even some local wine for you to enjoy. Sorry, this is a family community and no parties are allowed. $250 fine for noise violations.

Fun city loft, super close to public transportation.

We enjoyed our stay at Jessie's loft, even though it was a short one. The loft was clean, comfortable and super modern. I liked sitting out on the balcony with my coffee and people watching. The pop o shot basketball was a blast for the kids and adults.

It's lots of stairs, which provided excellent privacy for our grp, but be prepared to acend! Urban oasis. Thanks for the hospitality, Jessie!

Perfect place for a night in Seattle

We had a wedding in Seattle on Saturday night and wanted to find a place to come home to after the festivities. This unit is 5 stories high with more than enough beds for eight people. The full kitchen was great too!

Mixed feelings

Myself and four other girlfriends were taking a trip to Seattle from Portland for the weekend. Two of us had birthdays to celebrate. Overall, it was a great trip! The owner met us there to get us checked in and provide a tour. The pictures were a little deceiving. It's much smaller than what the pictures make it look, but still a cool home. It's actually a community of townhouse/ row house style homes and from the picture thought it was a stand alone building. The whole property is very compact and parking is not good. We had an SUV and it wouldn't fit in the provided space, so we had to park on the very busy street. Pros of the house: Different, cool, urban, green, well stocked (besides the Keurig that wasn't really a Keurig that between the 5 of us could never get to work), good location, owner was friendly. Cons of the house: Apple TV took all 5 of us at least an hour to get the settings correct to be usable. We're all in our 30's and pretty hip, so it's not like we're technologically challenged. The worst part about the house was that upon our arrival, there was a sign in the kitchen that said whisper after 9. Really? During the tour, the owner informed us that the most important thing to her is to not have a noise complaint. She basically asked us to stay to one side of the house after hours to keep any noise away from the common wall. She asked us not to walk to loudly up the wooden stairs, all 5 levels! She asked us not to talk too loud or laugh too loud after hours. This would have all been fine had we been informed of the overly sensitive rules before deciding to book here and were ok with them. She was aware of the group going up, the amount of people and the reason for the trip. Knowing all those things, I think it would have been wise and courteous to state the rules and expectations and the sensitivity of the property during our communications, before we committed, paid and arrived. It was a Friday and Saturday and we were in Seattle to go out and party. Well, we got a call from the owner on Sunday morning that the neighbor complained. I felt bad, but again with the nature of the property, thin walls, unfinished very loud floorboard floors and an echo that travels thorough out the whole house, I feel this whisper only rule should be very clear in the advertisement or at least In the communications prior to booking. Still a neat house. Better suited for families with bedtimes, or older groups fit enough for 5 levels:)

Owner's Response: I'm sorry that the stay didn't go as expected for Krista. I had not heard anything about the Apple TV issue or the coffee maker issue until now. I had not thought to print instructions for the Apple TV but it's a good idea and I've added printed instructions for the next guest. I also have a new coffee maker now that I know there was an issue. Unfortunately I did receive a complaint about these ladies partying loudly outside on the balcony at 3am and, for the first time ever (after 26 rentals), I had to call a guest which I can only imagine was as uncomfortable for them to hear as it was for me to do. The parking spot is listed as compact and and I do have that stated on my welcome email. The SUV they brought was an Expedition which clearly didn't fit so they had to park on the street. They were nice ladies but I think they were better suited to a party house rather than a townhouse for the party they had planned. This property is in a residential area and I have a clear "no parties" policy.

Urban oasis

A very unique property with amazing views of downtown Seattle. A funky neighborhood barbecue joint next-door. Coffee shops up the block.

It was a great that the host met us. Like that personal touch. Will stay again.
