About Patricia Kuhry

I have lived in the Sacramento area now for 30 years but still am a mid-westerner at heart. I am semi retired but busy all of the time. If there is anything you need or have questions I will get you your answers. I am a phone call or text message away. Having worked for an airline in my past, I have traveled though out the world and have gotten to know what is important when you are away from "home". I feel that traveling is an adventure, meeting new people and exploring new cities can be wonderful but can also tire you out, so, at the end of your exploring day it is nice to come "home" to relax and regroup for another day of exhilaration. I am excited to bring my home to VRBO. My hope is that you will find my home as comfortable as your own home. Because of my upbringing, we always had cards and games to play, so I have included these items along with a book case with books that you are welcome to exchange out your current book for a new one.

Patricia Kuhry purchased this house in 1993

Why Patricia Kuhry chose Sacramento

Quiet urban area with tree-lined streets. People are riding their bikes or walking their dogs. Close to everything yet far enough away for solitude. Street parking, except on Thursday mornings until noon. (street cleaning this side of street). Park your car and walk or bike to the charming spots surrounding you. Convenient to freeway and major surface streets. Work or play, this is the place to stay.

What makes this house unique

Walk! Use Lyft, Uber, Zimride, taxi's or public transit. Bike rental shops are nearby. This property has a small apartment on the back side. Entrances are separate and should not interfere with your visit. This is a great benefit if this is a family event and you would like to take both spaces.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had! Patty's home was welcoming (wonderful goodies including fresh fruit and snacks!) and in the perfect location for my visit. Every thing I needed was already there and it was a truly lovely home with so much warmth and character. My sister and I got to spend more time with one another on this trip then we've been able to do since we both lived at home and the mid-town location was within walking distance to a great many things. We were also able to get really quick Uber and Lyft rides.

Charming comfortable house in an established walkable neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

Patty's home had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. She was easy to reach if we had any concerns. Definitely a prime location with easy access to stores and restaurants. We've stayed at many vrbo's and this one is a winner.

Wonderful stay!

  • 4 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay at Patty's apartment. It is indeed charming, comfy, and convenient to everything in Midtown. The roomy space had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, fluffy white towels, comfortable beds, pretty dishes, lovely private patio and front porch, nicely decorated rooms...it had everything we needed! Will definitely be staying here again when visiting Sacramento. Thank you, Patty, you are a wonderful host!

A great house in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in this charming two bedroom home in Midtown, Sacramento. We loved the home that was very comfortable in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. The location is excellent for taking morning walks and it is close to restaurants and other services. It was so nice to have the ability to cook in the well-equipped kitchen instead of eating out. We will definitely be back and we look forward to exploring more of Sacramento.

Excellent condition, refurbished and nicely decorated throughout. Charming home built in the 1920s

  • 5 of 5

The owner was an excellent person to visit with and learn some tips about things to do in Sacramento.

Sacramento is an excellent town for dining, coffee shops and nicely rehabbed houses.

The immediate neighborhood has lots of nicely rehabbed homes just like this property. It was pleasant to take a morning walk in any direction. Suggest a walk down to the Blue Diamond almond factory for their informative video and many, many types of almonds in the company store. We did not know that California furnishes the almonds for 80% of the WORLD, not just the United States.

There is excellent high speed internet, washer and dryer, excellent furnace, nice interior decorating and nice features from the owner you will like.

Perfect location for any stay in Sacramento, period!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed with my family of 6 and can say that everything was perfect. Everything was clean and neatly organized. Getting into the house was a breeze. Although it is street parking we didn't have any issues with getting a spot right in front every time we came home. The house is perfectly located in midtown so you can easily walk to some very nice restaurants/bars. It also provides easy access to all of the freeways in the area. I grew up in Sacramento and can tell you this is a perfect spot to stay. The neighborhood is nice and the house itself is charming. Patricia made the stay great by having the house ready for us very early, having tons of clean towels, bedding, pillows, seating, etc. She has done a great job setting this quaint little house up in midtown Sacramento. You have wifi, direct TV, and all the amenities you need in a house to make it a home for a short or long stay. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a perfect place to call home while vacationing. Thanks Patty!

Truly a home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Patty's house is indeed as homey and nice as she is herself. My wife and I felt truly welcomed by Patty with all the special small touches on top of very nicely appointed accommodations. Great residential location right outside the center of the city was tree lined and quiet with easy parking. We would definitely stay there again and can recommend the place to friends and family.
