We invite you to stay at the Garden Oasis, centrally located in Culver City across from many restaurants and shopping at Helms Bakery. This two bedroom one bath lower unit is part of a of a two unit duplex with a beautiful large private fenced yard and dedicated parking space. The apartment is located across the street from Helms Bakery with many restaurants and shops. Also, walking distance to Trader Joe's and walk/drive to downtown Culver City with many great restaurants, theater, movie theater, bars, etc.
Guests staying on a monthly basis require a housekeeper every two weeks ($100 per visit for our housekeeper). Guests with dogs require an extra security deposit and the required number of cleanings for those with dogs will be every two weeks. Unfortunately no cats are permitted.
This is a non-smoking property. There is an additional $500 damage/cleaning fee if it is determined that someone smoked inside the apartment. Thank you for understanding.

This property is centrally located in the heart of Los Angeles, 15 minutes to the beach, downtown, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and all that Los Angeles has to offer!
There is a large private fenced yard for true indoor/outdoor California living!
This property was wonderful for a 9 night visit to LA to see our son. Although there were only two of us staying, the 2nd bedroom was handy for TV watching when someone (me) was hogging the living room TV. The kitchen made preparing Thanksgiving treats easy, and the laundry facilities were great. Towels, blankets were great. The main bed was WONDERFUL - made me a convert to a foam mattress. Off-street parking was great, and there was plenty of on-street parking available for guests (plus parking passes for them.) The two bottles of wine were appreciated, and the kitchen supplies made it easy to have light meals at the rental.
Only negatives - there was a bit of wear/tear exhibited on a few things caused by prior tenants. And the whirlpool/shower combo is a bit of a climb in and out of if you're getting up in age a bit. A handgrip on the wall nearby would solve that problem. The front gate was always somewhat balky - especially after it rained - despite the handyman's attempt at fixing it. There was one day without power - but the landlord couldn't have done anything about that - the electric company decided the pole and transformer in front of the house needed replacing and simply shut off power for a full day. No warning, no message, no note - they just did it. Surprisingly we actually needed some heat several nights, and the single heater located in the main room really had to overheat that area for any heat to make it into the bedroom and bath. There were fans provided to move cooled air around - but they would seem counterproductive for heated air.
We'd rent it again. So it probably really deserves 4.5 stars.
We spent a week at Garden Oasis and had a great time. The apartment was nicely renovated, clean and with a small but nice garden. The surroundings were quiet and tranquil and it's a good location to stay at if you want to go to different places in the LA area. I can happily recommend the Garden Oasis!
