About Daniel Hsu
I have a Bachelors from UC Berkeley in Business Administration and Masters in Finance from London Business School and threw it all away! Hahaha. My wife and I have actually been involved in fashion since 2008, when we met in London. Currently, we design and handcraft leather goods and other fashion items right from our workspace downstairs. I've switched from the business world to the art world since I was a college student, but for the time being i'm sticking with art. I tend to get along with most people, even horrible people. LOL. I drove for Lyft and Uber for about 1,500 trips and had almost a perfect rating, so I guess I'm pretty decent at meeting new people and making them feel comfortable. I feel like anything I write about my likes will sound too cliche so I'm not going to do it, but I'm sure we'll have something in common. I listed my profile as being able to speak Thai, but my wife is the one speaks native Thai.

Why Daniel Hsu chose West Alameda
Unfortunatley, our house doesn't seem to be haunted. Trust me, I've checked. LOL. Our house is considered listed as a Class S Historical Building: "A historic resource distinguished by its architectural, historical, or environmental significance, eligible for inclusion in the State Historic Resources Inventory, and of secondary priority for inclusion on the list of Alameda Historical Monuments. Many of these are also eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Others would be eligible if design integrity were restored." Fortunatley, the house was remodeled so the interior is more suitable for the modern era, while maintaining most of its original charm.
What makes this Apartment unique
One block away is the the main bus line that will take you to San Francisco. It's called the Transbay line and during non-traffic hours can be as fast as 34 minutes to get to downtown San Francisco. Prefer to take Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), then you can catch a bus to the 12 St. Station, which takes about 24 minutes. By car, I've made it to San Francisco in about 20 minutes during zero traffic, but traffic can easily double or triple your commute. Heading to San Jose or Silicon Valley, your best bet is by car and without traffic can take about 50 minutes, but expect traffic. Flying in and out of Oakland International Airpot: Alameda is right next to the airport, but because of just street traffic it takes about 17 minutes to get there. Flying in and out of San Francisco Airport: You can connect with BART (about 1 hour 30 minutes door-to-door) or drive. The trip is as quick as 40 minutes without traffic, but it's always safer to assume a 1 hour drive.
