I have been living and working in Bozemansince 2005 and fully take advantage of all the outdoor amenities the area has to offer. I am an active member of the Bozeman community where I serve as a volunteer DJ at KGLT, our alternative public radio station, serve on the board of various non-profit organizations, and participate regularly in cultural and community events.
I enjoy backcountry skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, the arts, entertaining in my home and international travel. Interestingly, I am a dual American Italian citizen
Annie V. purchased this townhome in 2005
The combination of city amenities (A museum, symphony, trendy restaurants, etc) in a mid-size town close to the mountains make Bozeman the perfect place for me to call home.
Nice neighborhood location. Glorious mountain views. Low maintenance, low key townhouse living.
I am the original owner of this townhome, which was built in 2005. With its variety of architectural styles, a park and walking paths, and proximity to grocery stores and downtown, Valley West is one of Bozeman's newer yet highly desirable neighborhoods.
Top notch!!! Everything was perfect.
Perfect for our needs! I used this property while getting my son ready to move into his dorm. Lots of room to organize his stuff, prepare his favorite meals and enough room for both of us to still have our own space. Loved the location and quietness of the neighborhood.
Sapphire Place was the perfect place for us, and it can be the perfect place for you too!
Our family of four (includes two boys ages 10 and 12) stayed nine nights in August 2016. The boys loved their little condo away from home. There is plenty of living/cooking/dining space to hang out all together, and more space upstairs if one wants solitude. A nice little deck looks out to the north mountains. The back porch has seating for two if you need to get fresh air while downstairs.
Unlike the previous reviewer, we were not at all bothered by not having AC. The condo stays nice and cool if you close up windows and draw blinds before leaving for the day.
We used Sapphire Place as our home base for many adventures with our daughter who goes to MSU. Btw, it doesn't take long to get downtown or to the MSU campus!
There is a grocery store not far away (Rosauers) that has everything you'll need for prepping food in the kitchen (fully stocked with pots, pans, bowls, etc.). If you are there in summertime, don't miss Bogert's Farmers Market (near downtown) on Tuesday nights!
We enjoyed looking at all the cool stuff that Ann has hung on the walls (she is quite the traveler!) and thoughtfully displayed on the shelves (Seinfeld Puffy Shirt! 😂). She has good music (Led Zep, Robert Earl Keen 🎶), good movies (although we didn't find them tucked in the drawer under the TV until late in our stay though. Watched Breaking Away! 🚴). There is also a guitar near the stereo if you are so inclined!
The wifi also has a really strong signal if you it. My 12 yr old wants to make sure I include that little tidbit, as he is a fan of all things online!
Ann was also available for one of our after-hours mishaps (forgetting to bring the key after returning from Bozeman Hot Springs!). FYI (and note to self!) - make sure to leave the original lockbox key in the lockbox!
The washer and dryer upstairs both work very well (and were stocked with detergent that smelled really good too).
One final note - the neighborhood is very cute and we had fun going for evening walks (and scooter rides) through the streets. Lots to look at!
Bottom line...you will like Sapphire Place. Book it now!
I have stayed in a number of VBROs and rely on the reviews, so I felt strongly I had to post this one. The condo was clean, neat, quiet and a great location for us. I also am not downgrading the review for the fact that it does not have air-conditioning during a hot Bozeman summer.
The price of the unit, compared to others we have stayed in, for the amenities provided is high. (even for high season) No air-conditioning. There is no TV reception, or remote for the TV (no, not a do or die need just a fact). There was no soap, bar or body wash, in the showers (only noticed once we were in it). The place is decorated a bit like a ski bums rental with the beds on the floors, dents in the fridge, a memory foam sofa, when 2 people try to sit/lie to watch a movie one falls off. Microfiber towels that don't actually dry the dishes. It would of been nice to have 1 nights coffee for the coffee pot, as we got in late and no chance to go to the grocery. The new hardwood floors up the stairs and upstairs were very nice.
Maybe we are particular for the price we are willing to pay. The unit itself was nice clean and did the job. Anna was easy to work with and friendly. She confirmed we had everything we needed when we checked in and made sure we knew she was available if we had any problems.
Ann's condo is spacious and comfortable. The location is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and outdoor activities. Even though the temperatures reached the mid 80's during the day, the condo remained cool and comfortable without a/c. We were always happy to be "home" after a long day of hiking, fishing and exploring the Bozeman area. This was one of our most memorable vacation!
We had a great time there! Very clean, very well stocked kitchen and easy to get to and find. We plan on coming back to this place on our next trip if it is available.
