The house is 1500 square feet with an additional 600 square feet studio. Agnes is a very quiet street, with always plenty of parking place. Also there is a one car garage with remote control access door.

I purchase this property for my parents moving from France to the US. It is a perfect location, quiet street, great neighbors, close to stores. The house is charming, hardwood floor and Terracotta tiles, spacious, bright with lots of closets.

The in ground Hexagonal spa is a beauty. Just relax in the water and BBQ your diner.

What makes this house unique

There is something special with this house, you just "feel like home" when you get in.

Complimentary Champaign is in the refrigerator to welcome you. You can drink in outside the backyard or even better in the spa!

Croissants are for your first breakfast in the house.

Laid-back, Clean and Comfortable

It is a simple, clean, comfortable house. The photos are accurate, though the house is larger than it seems from the photos. It was nice to be able to spread out. I spent three days here with three girl friends, we had a wonderful time. The backyard is a haven to hang-out in after a day of sight-seeing.The owner Alain, was very easy to work with. There weren't any croissants but that was OK, the supermarket Ralph's was close-by for breakfast things. I would definitely stay here again.

Decent house

The house is nice and big, with a good back patio area. The street is very nice, but the surrounding neighborhood isn't especially interesting, probably want to drive anywhere you go, which is fine, it's close to the expressway. The owner was very helpful. The house could use some minor fixes, such as a leaky faucet, and more than three eating bowls, but nothing that affected us negatively. There were croissants, but I didn't see the advertised champagne, no big deal though. I would stay here again and I would recommend it. Price was right.

About the bowls, I usually tell my guests to call me if something is missing and I will replace it right away. Listing should be re-titled to say.... "Smelly and Un-maintained Home"

I would not even give this property one star but I could not submit my review unless I marked something! My first impression when I arrived at the property, was that it looked like I rented a home that was in foreclosure. The front yard had a broken gate, burned out dead grass with an empty beer can in the front bush by the front door. This was my first indication that the owner did not take care of his property and I feel sorry for his neighbors that have to deal with the eyesore. The owner agreed to meet us at the property early (around 3 pm) and he proceeded to take us through the home before leaving. The home was really hot and he turned on the AC when we arrived so we left to grab dinner in hopes that the home would have cooled down when we got back but it was still stifling hot. The pictures of the home that were listed on the web site did present an accurate representation of the home I arrived at. It had a foul smell throughout the home (which a picture cannot capture), someone's old food in the fridge, cob webs, spiders and bugs crawling on the floor. The additional 600 sq. ft. studio in the rear of the property should not even be listed as a habitable room for this property since it had no AC and was more like a dungeon. I had hoped this would be an area our 3 kids could play or even sleep in. When showing me the room, the owner made a comment that we could throw the kids in there if they were bad, which I did not take kindly to. The tub/shower in the bathroom was especially disturbing and gross. I would not even wash my dog in there let alone my children. The bedroom had flat yellow stained and smelly pillows, which totally grossed us out. The one-car garage was in a back alley behind the house and would not fit my vehicle so I would have to park on the street. I would not have rented the property had I known this since I was looking for a property that was secure since we were traveling with 3 small children. After we returned back from dinner, we decided that we did not feel comfortable nor safe staying in this home so I called the owner and asked him to come and get his keys. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

Owner's Response: The short answer would be to please just check my reviews on VRBO and Homeaway regarding the specific complaints. Ridiculously, Mrs. Depompei is calling my good reviews fake, which is absurd, how could I do this? "I can't imagine the reviews I read are valid". Cleanness. I have a minimum of 6 hours cleaning service between 2 guests. Everything is cleaned up, from the floor to sheets, blankets and towels. Yes, one pillow cover was white and the other off white (I accept the lack of taste critic) but it does not mean it was dirty. Come on! “cob webs, spiders and bugs crawling on the floor” What a vivid imagination! The house has a big yard; it is possible that a fly or a bug sneaked in. I regret she thought she was transported on the set of a horror movie. This is silly. Household broken or missing. (original VRBO complaint, now retracted) - Sorry to say, it is a plain lie. Everything was in perfect working condition. I don't see how in the half hour she stayed in my house, she could have time to check if, the washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, TV, Wi-Fi network, iron, hair dryer, stove, fridge, spa jets, spa bubble blower was not working.... Everything was! In her original complaint she stated that the AC was not working, now she retracted herself to: not cooling fast enough. This is better, but why did she lie? “The front yard had a broken gate” How is that possible? There is no gate. Look at the photos. I always make clear to my guests that the 600 sf studio is not part of the 6-person occupancy rental. It is a BONUS they might or might not use according to the season since there is no AC. Now we can wonder why would anyone in the right mind would insist to have their children play inside a room when there is a large backyard with a Jacuzzi? Not to mention the beach or Universal Studios nearby. She did not stay long but found time to trash, tear off the futon. She claimed it was like this when she came in (!). Sure… It is pointless to respond to every point of her fictional story, I am sorry she did not like the place, but all her claims are baseless. Her formal complaint was dismissed by VRBO. In her previous rental, she complained that ½ bathroom was missing in the property! Didn't she read the property description? Why whining? Why giving an unfair lower review to someone who did not disserve it? I strongly suggest homeowners and managers to avoid renting to this person your property. It is not worth it. There will be problems.

Convenient to Universal Studios, but not much else redeeming.

Home was clean and 15 minute drive from Universal Studios. The owner accommodated our late (10:30 pm) arrival. Otherwise unremarkable. Nothing within walking distance. Description mentioned champagne and croissants waiting for first night/morning; I was irked that they weren't there at all. If the price is right and you don't particularly care where you sleep, go for it, otherwise look for something else.

Owner's Response: I suspect you have not explored the neighborhood, or it depends how you define "walking distance". The closest place to grab some food is at about one minute walk from the house! How could you miss it? Then, up the street, at 2mn away, there is a Dollar Store where you can find everything you need for really cheap (I recommend). The big supermarkets such as Smart & Final, Ralph's require a 8 to 10mn walk, (there is even a Grocery Caddy in the garage).... On the way, you can find a donuts shop, a Chinese restaurant, a Kebab, a House of Pancakes restaurant, a Sears Store, a 7/11, a post office and several banks teller machines should you need cash. My house location is in a rare Los Angeles neighborhood where you don't need a car..... If you can walk 10mn! I usually pick up some fresh croissant on my way to the 5pm check in, but since you arrived in the middle of the night, ( I do my best to accommodate my guests) it was not possible. Sorry.

Perfect Spot!

This lovely house was perfect for us when my daughter and I visited my son in West Hollywood. It was close to everything! Plenty of space, super clean, comfy beds, everything you would ever need and a hot tub to boot! The owners were lovely! When we arrived Alain met us with Champagne and Croissants! The perfect vacation breakfast! Mimosas and croissants! Fast wifi too! check it out, you will love it!

Great location, great backyard, and great TIME!!!

I had the absolute BEST time at this little location which I have come to love. It is exactly as described but enjoyed the LARGE king size bed, the hot tub, as well as the private backyard to relax and write in. Close to plenty of restaurants and right across from a mall which i loved. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN! THANK YOU ALAIN!
