Why Phil & Denise Toye chose George Town
A little taste of heaven! Great Exuma is beautiful and unspoiled it sold itself to us. February Point is probably the most beautiful location on the island and close to George Town & amenities. The villa is one of very few actually on the beach front at February Point resort.
What makes this Villa unique
An opportunity to stay in one of just a very few properties on the February Point resort that are directly on the beachfront. Just walk out of the door and you are on the beach! Swim, snorkel, dive or fish or relax and just enjoy the view! The villa is a stones throw from the resort infinity edged freshwater swimming pool. Seacroft is perfect for that special get 'away from it all' vacation and you can be sure that you will return home feeling relaxed & revitalised.

Beautiful location and great villa
The Seacroft Villa was perfect for our family’s first trip to the Exumas. The house location is so convenient to Georgetown and all of the great beaches on the island, and February Point is so beautiful. The view of Elizabeth Harbor from the house is spectacular and we loved having the 2 community pools and the Rusty Anchor restaurant so close. The house had everything we needed for a week vacation: fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, beach towels, beach umbrella, coolers, lounge chairs, washer/dryer, etc. If I had to come up with anything that could be better, it would just be that the living room furniture was not very comfortable, but we really weren’t in the Exumas to hang out inside anyway , and the upstairs bedrooms and porches were lovely. The owners are great to deal with and very responsive. Thank you!
Thank you for your review. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
2 weeks of relaxation
Beautiful and clean property. Wendy was amazing and gave us some wonderful suggestions for us to do during our stay. February Point is a really nice development with amenities second to none.
We're glad you had a wonderful stay at Seacroft and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Exuma and February Point is the best!
We love this island and highly recommend this location to everyone! The locals are very kind and are always there to help you feel welcome. From renting a boat at Elizabeth harbor, snorkeling, beach bars to Sandals day passes this island has it all. Can’t beat this location!
Great place to stay
The house was a perfect location, very close to town and good for exploring the north or south ends of the island. It was fully equipped with whatever we needed, the views are breathtaking and we spotted turtles pretty much every day. Phil and Denise were so easy to deal with, thanks for everything.
Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back to Seacroft in the future.
8 days in paradise
Highly recommended, high profile property, in an incredible location. Great local support, property up to expectations, the house is delicious, Feb point is probably the most luxury resort int he Exuma island, quiet and cosy. Highly recommended!
Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back to Seacroft in the future. We agree that it is a little bit of paradise!
This house was perfect for our family. Beautiful views, gated neighborhood, roomy and comfortable. The owners and property managers were both easy to work with. Lots of fun things to do on the island. We will definitely consider going back again.
Your property is at February Point Resort Estates Georgetown, February Point Queen's Highway, Georgetown, BS, The Bahamas and is a private, gated resort community with swimming pools, restaurant, bar, tennis court, gymnasium, marina and common area sandy beaches.
The property is accessed by a security gatehouse, with adjoining tennis courts (well lit for playing at night & with racquet hire if required), club house, limited fitness center and the Rusty Anchor bar and restaurant overlooking a stunning infinity pool and pristine white sandy beach.
Guests can enjoy all the facilities of the resort, including swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness centre (limited equipment), marina and private beaches.
Don’t leave without exploring the rest of Exuma. George Town is about a mile away, where you can stock up on groceries, hire a boat or spend a lazy couple of hours exploring the quaint shops and harbor area. There are some stunning, pristine beaches to make your mark on and, if you enjoy fresh lobster, visit Denise at Santana`s in Little Exuma. It is amazing! Of course don't forget to do a say trip togo and see the Swimming Pigs, the Bahamian Rock Iguanas, the nurse sharks, Thunderball grotto and many other interesting attractions. You can arrange to be collected from the villa or nearby George Town.
The villa has an information pack with everything you need to have the most memorable of vacations.
To get the best from your vacation, it is recommended that you hire a motorboat for some of the time. Even if you have never handled a motorboat before and feel nervous, it is still worth considering. Minns water sports in George Town http://www.mwsboats.com/ have a wide selection of single hull and TwinV boats for all capabilities. They give instructions on how to operate the boat, anchor and other activities. It is advisable that you book in advance if you are coming in high season as the boats get booked up fast! The waters around Elizabeth Harbour are spectacular!!! You can explore the many small islands and virgin beaches in a safe environment. If you enjoy snorkelling, there are many places to go or if you just want to sunbath on a deserted beach, then a boat is needed.
You can bring the boat almost to the back door of the villa if you want to use it to collect groceries from George Town and docking facilities are available at the February Point marina (subject to availability and docking charge to February Point), just a small distance away. You will need to arrange and pay for docking at the February Point office.
If you are a deep sea fishing enthusiast, then we would recommend Captain Doug Rowe http://www.fishrowecharters.com/
Things to Do
Absolutely nothing, if you prefer, all day long!
Endless beaches to explore (our favourites are Coco Plum Beach, Tropic of Cancer beach and ocean side of Stocking Island)
Have a rum punch at Chat N Chill on Stocking Island.
See the view from the bridge between little and Great Exuma – Outstanding!
Visit Cotton House on Little Exuma. It is the oldest and only remaining plantation house.
Williams Town has an Ionic column used to signal ships to salt harvest areas a century ago. Bonefish Flats is on the Lee side of the island for popular sports fishing
Local shopping in the centre of Georgetown with its straw market and some quaint boutiques
Frequent the many local restaurants scattered throughout the island, including Peace and Plenty, Splash Bar & Grill at Hideaways, Augusta Bay restaurant and bar, all in Georgetown. Shirley's at the Fish Fry just outside of George Town and Cheeters (a couple of miles going out of George Town towards Little Exuma) on the Queens Highway are good. Denise at Santana’s on Little Exuma does the best lobster on the island - usually freshly caught by her husband Edgar. (don’t forget to ask Denise if you can see the photos of her with Johnny Depp during the filming of Pirates of the Carribean!). Also try Conch Salad, Cracked Conch, Conch Fritters, Conch Chowder, Grouper fingers (As you see Conch is the staple diet)
Stocking Island beaches can be reached by rental boat or Water Taxi (this leaves from the Government Dock in George Town (Elvis can be called on the radio or mobile) the Chat and Chill on Stocking Island is a must. Their rum punch is fantastic (but very potent). St Francis resort on Stocking Island is excellent for lunch or dinner and you can then take a short walk across the island to the
Atlantic side where the waves can be spectacular. Lumina Point is a newly opened resort on Stock Island and their food is great too. Call first to make sure they are open.
Other beaches worth a visit are Tropic of Cancer beach and Forbes Hill beach on Little Exuma. Most people should be able to show you where they are (Down tracks on your left on Little Exuma). Jolly Hall Beach (just outside George Town) is also a good beach and close to the villa.
