About the property

Unique, large 1 bdrm apt on historic 5th St. in Coos Bay. Includes bonus front and back enclosed porches, cable TV, and secure wireless internet. Living room has hardwood floors. Bedroom includes a queen bed with a 2-inch memory foam topper, cable TV, and a walk-in closet. Bathroom has a clawfoot bathtub with a shower attachment. Kitchen includes all dishes and cookware, along with a full-sized refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and toaster oven. Includes a starter supply of coffee/tea, etc. plus salt/pepper and spices. There is not a dishwasher, but a dish rack and dish soap, etc. is provided.

There is a separate dining room off the kitchen, that leads to the enclosed back porch with additional dining seating for two, along with a long couch, coffee table, end table and recliner. There are peekaboo views of the bay.

There is a laundry room available on-site on lower level for $1 per washer/dryer. Starter laundry soap and dryer sheets are provided.

There is a common covered back patio overlooking the backyard that is available for guest use, including a charcoal BBQ. This is also the designated smoking area, but most guests and residents don't smoke.

It is a quiet building. 5th Street is largely older homes built at the turn of the century (this house was built in 1912) and it is not a through street so traffic is minimal.

The apartments are located in a great historic residential neighborhood which consists of primarily large homes built in the early 1900s.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is walking distance to downtown Coos Bay (about 7-8 blocks), with a wide assortment of restaurants, a bayside boardwalk, art museum, and the grand Egyptian Theatre that has movies and holds special events open to the community.

The property is an older residence that is well maintained and close to the center of Coos Bay.

Close to the city center, the Heritage residence is charming. The owner was both helpful and welcoming. She provided fresh cut flowers, fresh baked goods and farm fresh eggs, which made our stay even more special. The area is very picturesque and offers great opportunities for hiking and sightseeing.

Great location

This apartment worked out well for us. It had plenty of room, the neighborhood was quiet and it was close to town. We cooked several meals there and it had everything we needed. I would recommend it, and would stay there again! We had great communication with the owner. The apartment is on the ground floor.

Easy and nice

Excellent stay for two. Very nice condo. Better than a hotel any day. Very easy check in. We stayed one night. kitchen had everything we needed. Internet worked great.
