I am a biologist and environmental compliance specialist with my own consulting business, Blue Heron Environmental Consulting. I purchased Heritage House Apartments in 2006, as I loved the building from the first time I saw it. There are six apartments in the building, with three full time residents and three apartments converted to fully furnished vacation rentals. For more information on me, check out my website:

The apartments are located in a great historic residential neighborhood which consists of primarily large homes built in the early 1900s.
The apartment is walking distance to downtown Coos Bay (about 7-8 blocks), with a wide assortment of restaurants, a bayside boardwalk, art museum, and the grand Egyptian Theatre that has movies and holds special events open to the community.
Close to the city center, the Heritage residence is charming. The owner was both helpful and welcoming. She provided fresh cut flowers, fresh baked goods and farm fresh eggs, which made our stay even more special. The area is very picturesque and offers great opportunities for hiking and sightseeing.
This apartment worked out well for us. It had plenty of room, the neighborhood was quiet and it was close to town. We cooked several meals there and it had everything we needed. I would recommend it, and would stay there again! We had great communication with the owner. The apartment is on the ground floor.
Excellent stay for two. Very nice condo. Better than a hotel any day. Very easy check in. We stayed one night. kitchen had everything we needed. Internet worked great.
