Welcome to Paradise!!!! There is nothing between this duplex and the Gulf of Mexico except white sand and sun!!!! Dune Walk West is a raised, 1-story duplex. 1650 sq. ft. Sleeps 12. It has two master bedrooms with private baths, the 3rd bedroom shares a large bathroom with the 4th bedroom that has two bunk beds!! The perfect place for a family vacation or reunion!!!! You will love relaxing on the deck while the kids build sandcastles in the sugar, white sand below!!!

There are two swimming pools and a tennis court in this gulfront community of Morgantown.

There is plenty of shopping, golf, walking trails, mini-golf, go carts and restaurants nearby. Don't feel like going out to eat? No problem...the kitchen is well equipt with everything you need...or grill outside on the bbq pit and watch the beautiful sunset while relaxing your cares away!!

About Ron and Dana

We have been married for 18 wonderful years! I am very blessed to have married my best friend!!! We enjoy lots of outdoor activities and staying active!! When Ron isn't golfing and I'm not playing tennis.....you will find us at the beach!!!! We have 3 rescue 'fur babies' that go everywhere we do! I wouldn't want to vacation without them and that's why we offer a pet friendly vacation home!

Very clean and well maintained place with a good view of the beach.

Good, quiet location at the end of the cul-de-sac. Nice view of the beach. Duplex is separated so only interaction was on the patio. Great kitchen and dining area. Long walk to the beach but OK if you don't have a lot of gear to haul.

Previous tenants had 4 dogs, which left a "doggie odor" after cleaning crews efforts. Would have appreciated blankets or notice to bring our own as nights were chilly/cold. Spot lights over dining room table not working. Bathroom nearest the kitchen light out over shower/bathtub. In Bedroom nearest the kitchen, stain on bed skirt possibly left by one of the dogs. Even though we are dog owners, we will probably stay away from pet friendly units in the future.

This is a great place for family and friends and your favorite furry friends. The view from the deck is breathtaking. Sassy Bass 1/2 mile down the road makes shopping easy and convenient. You will love their shrimp and collard greens. Also Ft Morgan is an interesting visit. You will find everything you need to fix meals. The duplex is very well equipped. The only item that you might need is a blanket if it is in winter months. There is one supplied. All in all you will love this setting

Beautiful Beach Front Home

My extended family stayed at the house for Christmas and absolutely loved it. It has beautiful beach views and is large enough to be comfortable with several adults and children. We basically had the beach to ourselves for several days. The home has beautiful furnishings and is well equipped to cook.

Home away with the puppies

This is our second year staying at this beautiful home and it was even better this year. We feel more like we are at home then staying at someone rental. The Jeandron's made our stay feel like we are welcomed guest into their private retreat and we will continue to come back as long as they allow us to stay there. The updates they have done this year make the place even more inviting then our last stay. The new kitchen appliances freshen up the kitchen and the new carpet in the bedrooms feel so warm and comfortable under your feet. I cannot say enough good things not only about the house but how the owners made us feel about staying there. I give this house two thumbs up and the puppies give it ten wags of their tails LOL.

Just not for us

The cottage was very nice but we only stayed less than 24hours of our 4 night stay. Upon arrival the home had a very pleasant fragrant smell as if recently sprayed. Our dog immediately started rolling on the carpet over and over but didn't think much about it. We left to go eat dinner and took our dog along with us. Upon returning she started the rolling again an I got down and tried to see or smell what was on the carpet as no pet stains were showing. I did find that strong urine was embedded in the carpet and our dog now had that smell as well. The next morning we got up, called trying to find a place to get dog washed and found a place in Pensacola. The next morning we fixed our coffee and went outside to enjoy morning coffee and ocean views. There was construction going on two doors down so very noisy with hammering and sawing. I know if is off season while we were there and that is when construction does have to take place. The duplex side across from us was having some renovations done as well and we could hear the sounds of the renovations from the deck. Could not hear them from inside but we came to spend a quiet time away from noise we had at home and spend it outside not inside.This was no fault of owners at all. But is was not what we had wanted for ourselves. We made the decision to look for something else when we took our dog to get washed. At that time we packed up and left. I notified the owner that we had left around 11:00 and decided that the cottage was not for us due to the urine smell and the distraction of construction. I did ask if they felt some sort of a refund /partial could be considered. That was not received very well at all.....a defensive attitude assured me we had made the right decision to just walk away. I was told the place had just been painted and new appliances added, and carpets cleaned. I did say the carpets looked clean but had embedded urine causing it to have odor and the construction was a distraction and her reply was, "well what would you have done if I had rented to children next to you." I felt that was an inappropriate response . i have not heard a word and won't I am sure.

A great place for a family but not really for a "couple get-away place "to relax and just enjoy being out in the sun on the deck , sunning, reading, etc.

The place is nice, the view is nice, and it was clean. It was Just Not For Us.

Owner's Response: I'm not sure why this guest left after staying one night, I can only assume it was for personal reasons or family emergency. We just completed updating both sides of the duplex, complete with all new appliances, paint, new carpet, bedroom furniture, bedding, etc. This was the very 1st guest to stay after the renovations were complete and we were so excited for them to check in. She complained about noise next door....the duplex does not share a wall, there is at least 20' between each unit. She then tried to give a few more excuses to try to get her money back, which were completely baseless. Since we would not refund her money, she decided to write a false review to discredit our beautiful beach home.
