Gorgeous beachfront condo with amazing views from your over sized 2nd floor balcony. Only two of the one bedroom condos in this building have this extra bonus outdoor space. Floor to ceiling windows look out to the white sandy beach and turquoise waters of the Gulf. Away from the crowded tourist areas, this quiet and tranquil beach feels like you have it all to yourself, because you do. Sand Key is a prestigious beach community that has some of the widest most private beaches in Florida. While only separated by a bridge from Clearwater Beach’s amenities and attractions, Sandy Key is a serene and tranquil oasis. The buildings premium amenities include a large heated pool and spa that has full sun all day long, an outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ-grill, tennis court, shuffle-board, basketball hoop, reserved parking and 24/7 security guard.

This unit has been tastefully updated. It is bright, contemporary and comfortable. A fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need to feel right at home includes; microwave, double oven, refrigerator, keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, stainless steel cookware, flatware, tableware and utensils. Just add your groceries. The dining table seats four and there are two chairs at the kitchen bar area as well.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed with a brand new 13” thick memory foam mattress. The pillows are not your typical hotel pancake variety, there are 4 of them and they are king sized and cozy. There are plenty of high quality linens for your stay. It also has a walk-in closet with plenty of storage. There is a comfortable chair, a 50” flat screen tv and ceiling fan. The bedroom has a sliding glass door out to a covered patio with direct beach views.

The living room has spectacular views of the beach through the floor to ceiling windows.

There is a writing desk and a 55” flat screen television with Blu-Ray player. High speed internet, basic cable and phone service with unlimited calls to the U.S. And Canada are all provided. In case there are four staying we have also included a queen sized aerobed to use.

The master bathroom has a granite countertop and walk-in shower with a bench, no bathtub. Plenty of quality towels are provided as well a blow dryer. The half bath is updated with granite as well and located near the entrance of the unit.

There is a washer and dryer with iron and ironing board in the unit for your convenience, no need to pack as much for your stay. We have large beach towels, chairs and a beach umbrella for your use. Also a rain umbrella, you never know… The building has both an elevator and stairs. Lighthouse Towers is smoke free and pets are not permitted for renters.

A short walk from Lighthouse Towers are the “Shops of Sand Key” including; Dunkin Donuts, an ice cream store, nail salon, convenience store, pizza and a few restaurants. The restaurants have table service while you sit dockside on the bay. As a Florida native I have to confess that you will get more out of your visit with a car. There are so many things to see and do but they are spread out. That being said you might find that a car is not necessary if you are only planning on enjoying the beach. In that case most everything you would need is within walking distance and if you choose to go further you can catch the Jolly Trolley. It runs along Clearwater Beach and Sand Key. PSTA Dial-a-Ride offers bus and trolley service around the beach area. Even if you have a car we recommend it because it is very convenient and inexpensive.

We are located near many tourist activities, including: Clearwater Aquarium, Clearwater Marina for deep-sea fishing, water sports, dolphin watching excursions, sunset cruises, shopping, dancing, dining and much more. Clearwater Beach is one of the best beaches in the country. USA Today confirmed what everyone who has ever been here already knows...

The Clearwater Community Sailing Association is a short walk away as well. If you enjoy sailing or kayaking you can rent boats there.

Lighthouse Towers HOA rules state that 14 nights is the minimum rental period allowed. No owner at Lighthouse Towers can lease for a shorter period of time. 14 nights is actually among the shortest leases on a Sand Key condo, most are minimum 30 nights. You can stay for less than 14 nights obviously but the two week lease and rates still apply. You’ll find that this is a much better deal than a local hotel when you consider the amenities.

There is also travel/vacation insurance available from a few national companies. These policies vary but may be worth it for you if you are staying for an extended time.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no additional convenience fee when paying by 'eCheck' or check. All other forms of payment will require an additional 3.5% convenience/credit card fee in addition to the lease price.

We are Florida natives who have lived here all our lives. I spent much of my childhood enjoying these beaches before any of these buildings were even here. I had always dreamed of living here on the beach and have now been fortunate enough to do so. We currently live and work in Southeast Florida. We aren't quite ready to retire so we'd like to share our dream with you.

We bought this property because we love the serenity of the beach and the quiet community. We have always wanted a condo on the beach. We plan on retiring to Sand Key. In the meantime we will vacation there.

What makes this condo unique

We chose this property because of the breathtaking views and over sized balcony over looking the beach. We love being able to enjoy a nice meal or a glass of wine out on the balcony. Clearwater Beach has a small town feel with big city amenities. Tampa is about 20 miles away, the greater Tampa area offers all the extras you could want;

Most relaxing vacation in years.

The condo we rented from Vincent was excellent. Had every amenity you could think of. Was very clean ,and had the cutest sea shore decor.The balcony is what will put this condo at 1000%. Very large with very comfortable furniture. Used it every morning and afternoon. The owner is also very accommodating, and responds quickly to any questions or concerns you may have.

A Great Property on a Perfect Beach!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of April and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The property is well maintained and secure. The condo is superbly maintained and well equipped with everything you could want or need - it is spacious for a 1 bedroom; the location just off the 2nd floor lobby is perfect; the kitchen and laundry are equipped with modern appliances; the kitchen is well equipped with new dishes and cookware; all of the furniture is very nice and very comfortable; the large TV in the living room is equipped with Amazon; the balcony is huge and overlooks the beach and ocean; there is a private store room across the hall with all the beach stuff you will need including umbrellas and chairs and a cart to move it with. The location is perfect - the property is located in a quiet, higher end, and well maintained area; this section of the beach was quiet and uncrowded (at least in April) and you can walk for miles on it; there is a small strip mall across the street with several very good restaurants (Must try Columbia and Backwater's). If you like the crowds, the public Clearwater Beach area is just across the bridge to the north (<5 minute drive). There are a lot of activities and restaurants and shops there. If you like things quieter, you can access the mainland with Belleair bridge, just to the south, staying away from the public Clearwater Beach area, and still have access lots of great shopping and lots of great restaurants within short driving distances. There is a good Publix just across this bridge on your right. There are a number of golf courses within a 15 minute drive - Clearwater Country Club (cheapest and casual) and Belleview Biltmore Golf Club are close and reasonably priced. In short, we had a fabulous time here - the area, the beach, and the condo could not have been better!

A Sand Key paradise

This is our 2nd year at the condo and we will be coming again in 2018. It's a beautiful and well appointed condo. Vincent and Jennifer have gone over and above to make the condo very comfortable. The extra little touches such as Amazon Echo, premium movie channels etc make it feel like a home. The views from the lanai are spectacular! Great place to escape to from cold winters.

Our favorite spot

We have been staying in condos in the Clearwater Beach area for 13 years. This is by far the nicest place ever. The landlords were amazingly accommodating and we had anything we might need at our disposal. We took a picture of the amazing sunset from our deck and had it enlarged to hang over our fireplace in Maine so that we will always be reminded of our wonderful stay at Sand Key.

We have been going to Clearwater Beach for more than 30 years and it is our 2sd visit to this condo (1st was last April). My wife and I would not dream of booking anywhere else, the condo is very well kept, everything is brand new, it is in a very quiet area and located right on the beach, it is very secure and located close to all activities. Excellent condo

The condo is perfect and exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is fully equipped, loved the Keurig, walk-in shower. recessed deck and large deck. comfortable furniture, Alexa and ocean views. The security staff was very helpful. The beach is not crowded, Back Waters grill is with in walking distance. The only thing you need to bring is food. A great condo for a couple!! Our next visit will be for one month.

Visit the Clearwater Beach area for award winning beaches, amazing restaurants, nightlife, our local star “Winter” from “Winter’s Tale” at the Clearwater Aquarium. Enjoy wave runners, para-sailing, Segway, dolphin tours, deep sea fishing, dinner cruises at the Clearwater Marina. Make sure to go to the Pier 60 for the nightly sunset celebration. There are several area golf courses, only minutes away. Go to Johns Pass to experience their waterfront restaurants, fabulous shopping and water excursions. St Pete/Clearwater airport is 20 minutes away and Tampa International Airport is 30 minutes away. Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and the Florida Aquarium is only 45 minutes away. Orlando, Disney, Universal and Sea World, are all only 90 minutes away. Booking: Booking requires $600.00 deposit ($500.00 to reserve and $100.00 non refundable HOA application). The balance of the lease is due 90 days prior to arrival. Booking less than 90 days in advance requires 100% payment.

Cancellations: 60 days before check-in, the deposit shall be refunded to Guest minus the $100.00 HOA application fee. From sixty 60 days to 30 days before check-in, 50% of the deposit shall be refunded to Guest minus the $100.00 HOA application fee. Less than 30 days, deposits, rent and fees paid shall become non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled by Guest.

If the unit is leased for multiple months by the same Guest, there will be a monthly cleaning by the Owners cleaning service at an additional charge of $100.00 for each consecutive month.

Rates are subject to change until reservation is made. Estimated costs shown by the VRBO site are close but not always accurate, their software can not account for some things. After contacting us we can provide an exact price.

Instead of a refundable security deposit we have chosen to add a $99. fee for HomeAway's property damage insurance. This will provide you with $1500.00 of property damage protection. Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 11am. Times are scheduled to allow for cleaning of the unit. There is some flexibility on the time depending on reservations.
