Open layout with beautiful bay views throughout second floor. Perfect for families and larger groups with plenty of private space for all. Private location with easy access to all the Hamptons has to offer with the benefit of a short drive from NYC. A small private bay beach within walking distance. Private marina with restaurant offering fishing and boat charters a short walk away. House is fully-equipped with two of everything. Terrific for larger groups.
We live with our two sons in northern New Jersey. Brian is originally from Denmark and Tara from Long Island. We enjoy family gatherings and quiet weekends on Long Island.
Tara and Brian Nielsen purchased this house in 2015
We love the tranquility of the house and the beautiful bay views. The house is very secluded and offers tremendous privacy while still being very close to the Hamptons activity, vineyards and terrific restaurants.
The house offers lots of private places to read, relax, and spend time with family and friends.
The house has 2 BR's, full kitchen and dining room on each floor. Ground floor has 2 bathrooms and 2nd floor has 1 bathroom with waterviews.
My family members and I were traveling to Long Island, NY from various locations to attend a memorial service at Calverton National Cemetery. Our group consisted of 12 people - 7 adults and 5 children. Rather than book several hotel rooms, we wanted to find a house to rent that would accommodate us more comfortably and allow us to visit with each other. The Lunet turned out to be perfect for us! The fact that there are two kitchens and living rooms provided a quiet area for my 89 year old mother downstairs while the majority of the group gathered upstairs. The house was spotless, the rooms were nicely appointed and the beds were comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay (except food, of course!) was provided and then some! The children were never bored and the adults were able to relax and enjoy the house, the beautiful scenery and the surrounding areas. Tara and Brian have gone beyond what would be expected to make sure this house feels like home, and Laurie let us know that she was available if we had any questions. We truly enjoyed our week there and plan to return in the future!
I was looking for a place to recover from some leg surgery and was lucky enough to come across Tara and Brian's lovely home. With plenty of room, this clean, comfortable house had pretty much everything I needed. Close to the water and with a terrific yard I had plenty of wildlife to keep me company, from squirrels to ground hogs and deer. Will definitely try to come back, this time not to recover but to enjoy the surrounding area and maybe try some boating and fishing. Brian and Tara were terrific and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Much appreciated! See you next time!
My family enjoyed the stay here immensely. What a find! Clean, peaceful, and kid-friendly! We will definitely be back!
My family walked into this home and squeeled with excitement. The house was clean and beautifully decorated, roomy while remaining cozy and warm. There were games, toys, video games, TV, and even a foosball table for the kids, and plenty of places to snuggle up with a book for the me. Having a kitchen upstairs and downstairs was super convenient too. The kids loved walking down to the beach from the house (a mere 10 min walk), and the yard was large. The owners were friendly and approachable and thought of every detail to make our stay a fantastic experience. I really can't say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back!
What a lovely stay we had at this house. It has everything you need, is extremely well maintained, and the owners couldn't be nicer or more responsive. (It's also a great house for two families -- there are two floors, each with a kitchen -- so it would be a good one to share with friends.) A small bay beach is easily bike-able or walkable (a few blocks) down a scenir road, as is the small town and the marina. A perfect get-away.
A friend of mine recommended taking a trip out to The Hampton's where I have not been for many years to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I decided to make the impromptu adventure of renting this property in East Moriches (a short drive from Westhampton Beach) for a long weekend of fun and sun with my family. As soon as we pulled up to the home we were on cloud nine! The property was shrouded in privacy, clean and well appointed. The views of the bay were dazzling and breath taking. We loved the layout and the abundance of space the house provided. The proximity to the marina, restaurants (especially The Water’s Edge which is within walking distance of the house) and ice cream parlor were a real plus. Several beaches are just a short distance away. If you’re looking to get away or unwind this home is perfect. I will definitely be back. A special thank you to Tara and Brian for making us feel welcome in their home!
Access to the best of the Hamptons and Long Island's many wineries. Beautiful beaches are accessible with restricted resident passes. Plenty of great restaurants, night life, and tons of activities for families with children.
