About this property

If you want to be as close to Smith Mountain Lake as possible, this is the unit for you! You will love relaxing at the water's edge enjoying the beautiful lake and mountain views from the huge deck. And you will love Bernard’s Landing Resort which offers the most amenities of any resort at Smith Mountain Lake. Free use of our kayak/paddleboard, plus all resort amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, hot tub, sandy swimming beaches, fitness center, and sport courts are included.
DOCK: Courtesy docks are right in front of your condo! Rent a boat/jet ski, or bring your own!
BEDS: The master bedroom offers lake views, a luxurious king-size bed, en suite bathroom with tile shower, and TV. The sliding glass door exits onto the wrap-around deck. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, wall mounted TV, and large, updated hall bath. Quality linens/bedding and towels (including beach towels) are provided.
LIVING AREA: Comfortable living room with a 62” TV. Our end unit offers incredible views from the Great room/Dining/Kitchen area. Free upgraded WIFI.
KITCHEN: Well equipped kitchen stocked with many spices.
AMENITIES GALORE!
LAKE SWIMMING AND KAYAKING: A small sandy beach area is steps from the condo and we store a kayak and paddleboard there for the use of our guests. We provide beach towels, and life jackets!
SPORT COURTS: Tennis/pickleball/racquetball/basketball courts are close by, and we provide racquets and balls for our guests!
SWIMMING POOLS: One of the two outdoor pools is located just behind the condo. The other Olympic-type swimming pool with lap lanes is located at the Clubhouse, as well as a separate children's wading pool and play area, plus an indoor pool and hot tub! A large sandy BEACH with lounge chairs is nearby.
GYM: Fitness center, plus steam room and SAUNA are available at the Clubhouse!
GOLF: Guests have golf privileges at West Lake Country Club as well as other nearby courses such as Blue Hills and Hanging Rock in Roanoke.
DINING: It’s less than a 5 minute walk to Napoli By the Lake for a delicious dinner with indoor and outdoor seating!
CONVENIENCE:
Shop at Cottage Gate! They have games, clothing, and decor...it is just a few minutes walk!
Less than 8 miles away is the Westlake Center with a Kroger grocery store, multiple restaurants, as well as a movie theater (Westlake Cinema).

This place was great! It was very clean and well stocked with those amenities that you don’t think about but really need. Our host was amazing and very responsive! Loved that we were walking distance from Napoli! Will definitely stay here again!

A Wonderful Week

This was our first trip to Smith Mountain Lake, so we were very excited to explore. This condo came clean and fully stocked with a beautiful view. I liked that it was one the second level, but had few stairs. Everything was at our fingertips to include a small, relaxing pool, boat/wave runner rentals, and a small beach to kayak or paddle board from. This is a great place for children, especially age 7 or higher. We loved the lake and had fun visiting some sights around the area. We went to the Dam, the Booker T. Washington memorial, arcade, shops and a very cute creamery with delicious ice cream. Debbie was very responsive and also generous because she definitely goes above and beyond with the condo amenities. It was a wonderful trip and we would definitely come back.

After vacationing at Bernard's Landing for 10 years, we decided it was time to buy a condo...and we were lucky enough to purchase the condo unit we loved the most, in the building closest to the lake with spectacular views from the huge wraparound deck!

Why they chose this property

We LOVE Smith Mountain Lake and Bernard's Landing has the BEST amenities of any other resort around the lake! No matter what season, Bernard's Landing has something for everyone!

What makes this property unique

The view, closeness to the water's edge, and huge deck sets us apart from most other condos at Bernard's! We also uniquely offer the use of our kayak and paddleboard, as well as tennis, pickle ball and racquetball rackets (and balls) for court time fun. Also included are: beach towels, beach toys for kids and life preservers! We also have a well stocked kitchen with many spices. I don't believe any other property will offer as many "bells and whistles" with such an amazing view as our property!
