For someone coming from the US, this property is small. My wife and I kept bumping into each other and trying to find ways to get out of each other's way. However, the owner made up for it in his accommodations to us and the location was fantastic. We do recommend with the above caveat. Perfect for one person!
Chelsea flat stay
It was in a great location and Christos was very prompt in his response times to any questions. We had a lovely stay.
This tiny but relatively comfortable flat was in a good location...just minutes from the Tube station. Perfect size for one person. Two would work but it would be pretty cramped.
I think the place needs a little Tender Loving Care. It could use a really good cleaning and fresh coat of paint as the walls are pretty dingy and dirty. And it was obvious the sheets were laundered but they also were pretty dingy and had some stains on them. The bathtub is in pretty rough shape. Also, I had to kind of pick through the dishes as some of them were dirty.
The stovetop was not working when I was there and the freezer was completely frosted shut. So I’d make sure those things are working before you buy groceries you need them for. When I sent Christos a message mentioning those appliances, he did say he would check on it before the next renter gets there but it didn’t help me with the money I wasted on items that needed the freezer and couldn’t be cooked in the microwave.
So overall, it was an easy check-in/check-out and great location but it does need some work.

Not a good experience
We rented this suite for three nights in June, paying 255 pounds plus cleaning fee, 40 pounds and service fee, 31 pounds. We stayed there for less than one hour as we noticed a lot of fluff, suspicious black bits and dirty mattress cover. For a start the property owner said we could have a full refund if we were not happy there. We were not happy there with the state of the bed. We have since been trying to get at least two nights plus cleaning fee back from the owner. He refuses to do this. VRBO administration has sometimes been sympathetic and helpful and other times not. The last they said, 3 days ago, was they they would get our money refunded and we would hear from them in 48 hours. We have heard nothing from them. We would definitely not rent this suite again.
The guest checked in and the first thing she did was to check the mattress and told me that she she found bed bags. We immediately went to the property to investigate and offered a full refund if that was the case. There were no bed bags but we arranged a pest control expert to further investigate and he confirmed that there was nothing wrong.
The guest did not wait for us (we attended the property 1hrs after it was reported) and asked for a compensation plus full refund. She was advised the property was safe to return but she insisted there was a problem and that she has already booked somewhere else.
During the negotiations we offered partial refund to solve the issue in a peaceful way as we all have better things to do than disputing for £100-£200 but she rejected our offers.
We provided VBRO support all reports and photos and they decided that there was nothing wrong with the property. We had guests that checked out the day before and gave us a 5-star review and guest that check in after their booking that again did not have any problems.
Guest advised that she would write a bad review if she does not get a refund.
Small but Sufficient
As expected in London, the apartment was very small, but it had all the necessities, and is in a great location. Not quite as new feeling as the photos make it seem, but it was a great base with good value for exploring the city.
