Inclusive, welcoming, Pet & affordable for that perfect weekend away.
Why MARIE chose Hoddles Creek
We wanted to get out of the suburbs for a better lifestyle and found our perfect spot right here. There was even a song at the time that seemed to describe the place, John Farnham - A Touch of Paradise. Now, thirty years later, we'd like to share the beauty and tranquility of our property. After traveling the world for three and a half years and undertaken shorter trips more recently, I can honestly say that it doesn't get much better than this. We always love coming home after a 'holiday'.

Another enjoyable stay at this property!
Perfect for what I wanted
Cosy and relaxing
My partner and our two dogs had a lovely relaxing time at Marie and Dieter's, they were very generous hosts. Nice wood fire, plenty of walks and a nice little yard for the dogs.
My dog and I had a very relaxing stay, sitting by the fire on the cold nights .
My stay was peaceful and tranquil at Hoddles Creek, listening to the birds, feeding the pony was just relaxing. The hosts went out of their way to make my stay what I needed and even gave my some home cooked delights, lots of fire wood for the chilly evenings and fresh milk and freshly ground coffee. My dog and I really enjoyed our stay where you could do as little or a lot visiting neighbouring townships depending on how you felt. It had all you needed, nice and comfortable, warm and cosy.
Thank you Kerilynne - we hope to make future guests even more comfortable with our hot tub area enclosed and cosy. Lots of trails to walk and even signposted so you make your way back again :)
Very welcoming and open.
A lovely property. Kind hosts hat helped is with everything we needed. I would recommend this property to everyone who needs a peaceful place to rest. We were stressed when we arrived but left relaxed. Thank you Marie for your kindness.
Thank you Luke, I'm so glad you felt relaxed - this is a most beautiful spot. Next time I hope you'll take advantage of our bush walks along rainforest gullies and native bushland. A special thank you for leaving the cottage so spotless.
A perfect getaway!
I was looking for a getaway for a couple of nights to participate in an international short wave radio communications event. This property was ideal - comfortable accommodation, in a rural area away from urban radio noise, and some tall trees nearby that I could use to support the antenna wires. Marie and Dieter were wonderful hosts and I was especially grateful for their willingness to let me visit a day earlier to set up the wires. And the sunsets really are brilliant!
The house,Very clean. We have a small dog who loved that she could go The hosts were very helpful
We would be more than happy to stay here again it was peaceful and relaxing
We enjoyed having our guests who relaxed under the verandah and only retreated to the A/C when temperatures reached 39 deg.
The cooling evening air here in the hills soon gave relief. Even the Kookaburra's thought it was funny.
We would definitely welcome David here again.
