About Suzi Outerbridge
I'm new to hosting and am looking forward to meeting some great, interesting people!
Suzi Outerbridge purchased this House in 2010
Why Suzi Outerbridge chose Paget
Its' gorgeous and has a great feel to it and is very cozy and welcoming. Close to everything and private beach access.
What makes this House unique
Pool, beach access, close to Railway Trail, town, buses, pharmacy, gas station, grocery stores, Ice Queen (fast food for that late night snack - great French fries). Perfect location. We call it Central Parishes here in Bermuda! And, trust me, we are very central!
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
Suzi's place was great. It was in a terrific location, close to Hamilton, stores, and beautiful private beach.
The place is very pretty and we loved the pool. Hope to go back soon.
Great house - very warm friendly host!
Home Away From Home!!
My husband and I loved Susan’s “Wild Bird Cottage”!!!! Private and cozy. Warm and welcoming experience. Highly recommend. Location is not very far from Hamilton which has the best restaurants, lots of shopping and attractions. If you like beautiful powder sand beaches, snorkeling and boating, Susan’s location is near it all!! Also I highly recommend renting the Twizy car. Thank you Suzi and I look forward to visiting you again 😘🌴🦎🐢🐠🌺🏖
Wild Bird was just perfect for us. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Suzi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Lovely place — great host and central located
Excellent stay, your own apartment, access to pool and beautiful yard, and Oggy the sweetest dog welcome you. The location is central, which is great if you want to tour around the island for a few days like we did. Close to Hamilton on the scooter as well, for shopping or diner.
Great value for money if you ask me... we loved our stay here! Thanks again Suzi.
Thank you! Hope you had a safe trip home. The pool Is heating up!
We absolutely loved Wild Bird Cottage and our gracious host Suzi! Cant wait to go back to scoot around and then relax poolside with out Dark n Stormys!!! Best Anniversary Ever
If you don't want to rent a bike or Twizy our property is a short walk away from the bus route (we can get bus tokens for your arrival if you wish). The bus route is on Middle Road at the bottom of Tankfield Hill. If you are going West ie Dockyard or the beaches then stay on the same side of the road as Tankfield Hill. If you are going East, i.e. Hamilton or St George's then cross over the road at the bottom of Tankfield Hill and catch the bus at the layby. The railway trail is a 4 minute walk down the hill from the house with an abundance of walks and runs. Why not rent bicycles and have a great time exploring! The Railway Trail is a pathway that runs throughout the island which you can explore on foot, bicycle or horse. The Trail is the land right of way owned by the Government where the now defunct railway system used to be. No cars or trucks are allowed on it so its very safe.
There are many golf courses ie Riddell’s Bay, The Belmont Golf Course, the Fairmont Princess Golf Club and the Port Royal Golf Course each offering their own unique challenges.
Dockyard (a British Navy base built in the early 1820’s) is a must see where there is a plaza and shopping concourse as well as a series of excellent museums, pubs, artists workshops, book stores and the like as well as the hugely popular Dolphin Quest operation and you can swim with them. These shops and museums operations are all neatly contained in spectacularly restored historic buildings dotted throughout a park setting on the furthest west end of the island. Fast ferries and buses depart and arrive from the Dockyard facility all day long from Hamilton. The views from The Commissioner’s House are jaw dropping as you can see from one end of the island all the way to the other, with ocean liners sedately negotiating the Two Rock Passage , the sole opening in the reefs large enough to provide safe access to Kings Wharf in Somerset or Hamilton Harbour.
The City of Hamilton is very close to our house and has great places to dine and shop, and in the summer months through to October, Harbour Nights on Front Street on Wednesday evenings is an outdoor market event with live music, delicious food and unusual locally made items to buy. Front Street is shut to vehicular traffic and the better shops remain open. Everyone congregates happily til 10 pm. and then drifts off to window-shop, or investigate the night clubs, bars and cafes.
