This ol house is a remodeled farmhouse. We live in it when not rented, and put some of our stuff in the office and large closet upstairs to allow you ample space. The property borders an 84 acre park, and is a short walk to the Clark Fork River. Enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, hiking or mountain biking from out your door. The house has a hot tub, fire pit, and friendly neighbors. The kitchen is spacious, has appliances, a soda machine, granite counter tops, and a beautiful bay window above the sink. The oven is dual fuel. The 2 bathrooms are spacious and tiled. There is cable TV, and wifi. Our well water is the best and coolest you will ever taste. There is abundant bird life in the forest and trees on the property which you may view from both front and back porches. The master bedroom has a king size mattress, and the other rooms have double beds and one single.
Tom is a retired teacher and business owner. Sangwan (nickname Noi ) is from Thailand, and works as a waitress at a popular Thai restaurant in town. They have been married for 11 years and and working on the house to make it a nice place to live.

Enjoy a quiet country setting and the Clark Fork forest of Cottonwoods. Watch the Bald Eagles, Ospreys, and songbirds.
Mountain biking, fishing, hiking, bird watching, and floating on the river. It feels like the country, but downtown is just 4 miles away! We live in the house when your not, so we supply many staples like sugar, flour, and condiments in the fridge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Missoula, MT. We were in town for the River City Roots Festival and the Griz football game. Although home is not walking distance to downtown and campus, it is an easy and straight drive down Third Street to either area of town. Its an even shorter distance to the shopping areas and restaurants on N. Reserve and access to Lolo, MT and the Bitterroot are quick and easy. The home itself was very cozy and offered plenty of room for 8-10 people to stay comfortably. The bedrooms were very comfortable with gorgeous wood work and sky lights. The front porch rocking chairs are great for enjoying one of the fine Montana craft brews or coffees and the back deck is perfect for grilling out while enjoying the fresh air. The house's location is far enough out of the "city" to create a peaceful and quiet outdoors. It is a very short walk to the Clark Fork River and would make a great place to end a river float that starts out in East Missoula or near UM's campus. We would highly recommend this house in Missoula for a quick or extended vacation stay in this area of Western Montana. I know we will be looking to reserve it again the next time we visit Missoula.
This is the perfect place for us (parents & 4 kids ages 11-21). It has 4 bedrooms. It has enough living/dining room space for everyone to spread out. It is only a short walk through the woods to the river. It has a small hill in the back for sledding for the little ones (OK, my husband and I were out there also). It is close to everything (2 miles max to grocery, shopping, church, movies). It has a hot tub. It is an old farmhouse with character, as opposed to a brand new cookie-cutter house. This is our second stay. I am looking forward to staying there on our next trip!
Absolutely fantastic home. Bedrooms suited everybody's needs pretty much to the tee. Nice kitchen, quick walk to the river, very accommodating to every detail. Made visiting very relaxing for me and my family. Thanks Tom and Noi!
We rented this property for a wedding. My wife, mother in law, sister in law, and myself stayed for a week and the property was perfect for our family. Location was ideal (close to downtown Missoula) and 50 minutes from the wedding venue in Lozeau. Plenty of space, well stocked, and clean. We used the hot tub and it was a good addition. The property was nice but Tom and Noi made us feel welcome. They checked on us a few times and were very friendly and genuinely nice people. If we find ourselves in Montana, we would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Tom and Noi.

We stayed for two nights during Graduation weekend at University of Montana. We had all our family in town. Our hosts were wonderful and charming. They were so thoughtful as they congratulated our graduate with a bottle of champagne. The home has many rooms and the beds were comfortable. The staircase up to the three bedrooms upstairs is steep so we had our grandparents stay downstairs. The living room area was nice and big so we all gathered there in the evenings. The home is right next to an access to the river so we walked the paths one afternoon. The home is on a very quiet street. I would recommend this home to others. I would also recommend Tamarack Restaurant for Sunday brunch. They have a great bloody Mary bar and a wonderful mimosa bar!
The home was comfortable and close to downtown Missoula but out far enough to where it was quiet. It has a rustic flare. Our only complaint was that the windows on the main floor do not lock and the overall home could have been cleaner. It worked out well for our family of 6 and the owners were very nice.
This is a place to birdwatch from the porch, hike or mountainbike 200 yards to the river. You may like to ride bikes the 3 miles to downtown Missoula on our bikepaths, or it's a few minutes drive.
