Quiet and peaceful home on the outskirts of Missoula

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Missoula, MT. We were in town for the River City Roots Festival and the Griz football game. Although home is not walking distance to downtown and campus, it is an easy and straight drive down Third Street to either area of town. Its an even shorter distance to the shopping areas and restaurants on N. Reserve and access to Lolo, MT and the Bitterroot are quick and easy. The home itself was very cozy and offered plenty of room for 8-10 people to stay comfortably. The bedrooms were very comfortable with gorgeous wood work and sky lights. The front porch rocking chairs are great for enjoying one of the fine Montana craft brews or coffees and the back deck is perfect for grilling out while enjoying the fresh air. The house's location is far enough out of the "city" to create a peaceful and quiet outdoors. It is a very short walk to the Clark Fork River and would make a great place to end a river float that starts out in East Missoula or near UM's campus. We would highly recommend this house in Missoula for a quick or extended vacation stay in this area of Western Montana. I know we will be looking to reserve it again the next time we visit Missoula.

Great Vintage Farm House

  • 5 of 5

The place was clean, quiet and private. The hot tub was so great but felt just a little exposed until dark. Would be nice to have some sort of screening wall around it but dark worked just as good! Beautiful floors, nice updates and Tom and Noi really anticipated just about everything that was needed! Looking forward to another stay here!

Owner's Response: Thank you Laura for your review. Glad you liked the house. We like the hot tube exposed to nature and the wildlife, but also understand the desire for more privacy. We'll try to think of something simple we could use like a screen for your next visit.

Great house, great hosts, great location

  • 5 of 5

This is the 3rd time that we've stayed at this house. I have been resisting writing a review because I didn't want anyone else to know how great it was! It's in town (or close enough), it has 4 bedrooms, it has plenty of living/dining space, it has a hot tub, it's a short walk to the beautiful river, they have chickens out back and the hosts, Tom & Noi, are wonderful. It's perfect for us.

This house was perfect for all 8 of us! Loved the location and that it was walking distance from the river.

We spent a lot of time out on the deck; the weather was perfect.

This house has a lot of charm and it is cozy!

We will definitely be looking to stay again!

Cute home with plenty of space for larger families

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here for my brother's graduation weekend! Very comfortable, feels like home & there is plenty of room for several people to spread out. The Netflix was a great bonus for a rainy day inside! Also nice to be able to do laundry for a longer trip - would stay again.

Perfect Place

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect place for us (parents & 4 kids ages 11-21). It has 4 bedrooms. It has enough living/dining room space for everyone to spread out. It is only a short walk through the woods to the river. It has a small hill in the back for sledding for the little ones (OK, my husband and I were out there also). It is close to everything (2 miles max to grocery, shopping, church, movies). It has a hot tub. It is an old farmhouse with character, as opposed to a brand new cookie-cutter house. This is our second stay. I am looking forward to staying there on our next trip!
