Our Sea Cottage is a 2 bedroom, & 1 bath apartment approximately 1000 sq ft. on ground level (shown in pictures) with 1 space in garage for mid mid-sized car allocated on first guest, first serve basis. Conveniently located on a beautiful palm tree lined street in an neighborhood of homes valued from 2-20 million. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other bedroom has two extra long twin beds. All furnishings are new ("June 2015) including good comfortable beds, leather sofa, dishes, towels, everything is new. Windows in every room provide great light throughout the apartment. We also have another apartment equally as nice in the same building. It is VRBO # 733108 (Sea Castle)

About Sandra King
My property manager and friend Laurie Zahner, a California native, will be your host while you stay with us. The last two years she has participated in walking 1/2 marathons with her sister and cousins in different cities around the country. She enjoys traveling. Some of her favorite travels include living in Europe for several years, and spending a month in 2010 traveling around Ireland, staying in B&B's with her sister. More importantly, for both you and me, Laurie is one of the kindest, most trustworthy people on this planet with lightning quick response while paying great attention to detail. For more than 35 years, Sandra King served as the visionary chief executive officer of King Communications Advertising & Public Relations. She built her company from the ground up with ingenuity and determination, ensuring her business not only survived but thrived during three economic downturns. At a time when women were nearly non-existent on the business scene, she established her Newport Beach, California-based firm and oversaw its growth into a consistent award-winning agency. Prior to Sandra’s retirement in 2007, King Communications was one of the largest ad agencies in Orange County -- and the first to have a woman at the helm. The firm’s strategic and successful marketing campaigns resulted in high client retention and award-winning work in brand identity, ad campaigns, brochures, direct mail and outdoor advertising. Sandra used her passion for entrepreneurship to mentor others looking to overcome perceived obstacles to starting their own company as well as working with over 400 young girls to build confidence through her leadership in Junior All American Dance & Cheerleading Teams resulting in several First Place Championships in Ca. Charitable work includes City of Hope

A tidy, well-kept mid-range apartment. Stocked with essential supplies (tp, towels, kitchen stuff, beach gear). Coffee, bagels, and juice were a nice touch. Great location, walking distance to both the main drag (highway 1) and the beach. The owner graciously stayed up late to meet us when we arrived late.
Loved everything about our stay at this property! clean, location is awesome, one block from the beach, great shopping close to Fashion Island, short walk to get coffee and pastry in the morning, close to Masterpiece Spa if in need for a facial, highly recommend for your next visit.
Great house & location
This house was perfect. It was walking distance to two beaches, several restaurants, grocery store, and various shops. Laurie was so hospitable when we arrived. She had bagels and fresh fruit for us, went over all the ins and outs of the house, and answered any questions we had. During our stay, there was minor issue with an appliance. We reached out to her, she immediately responded, and someone was at the house to fix the issue quickly. Everything you needed was provided (ie. towels, sand toys, cooking appliances/pots/pans etc, shampoo etc). I would recommend this house and look forwarded to another trip. Sandra thank you for having a wonderful rental for people to enjoy!
Our family was here for a water polo tournament. We found the place to be clean and there were nice treats left by Laurie! She was terrific in greeting us and explaining everything.
Walking around the neighborhood along the ocean or Balboa Island or taking the Balboa Ferry to The Peninsula are great ways to spend your days. World Class Golf as well as a World Class Spa are located within a few miles at The Pelican Hill Resort. Six miles down PCH is Laguna Beach another beautiful place to see. Of course, Watersports and cruises of all types are available nearby. My favorite - renting an electric "Duffy" Boat with Canopy is a wonderful and relatively inexpensive way to experience and cruise around Newport Bay...easy to drive as a car...only goes 5-10 mph. Great for Families or Cocktail Parties. Another quintessential Newport experience is dining on the waterfront patio at the Balboa Bay Club or dining at The Pelican Hill Resort with a breathtaking view of all of Corona del Mar, Newport Beach and Catalina Island.
Be sure not to miss Fashion Island - a world unto itself...100 retail stores...and 50 restaurants from the most casual to fine dining as well as two major theater complexes. Fashion Island is a little over 1.5 mile away so you can walk or hop on the bus for a 5 min ride down PCH.
