Hillcrest Hideaway is a luxurious 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with a full kitchen and living area. Off-street parking, A/C, flat screen with 300+ channels, wi-fi. Perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 or a family/friends trip of 2-3. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed and the living room has pullout sofa (full-size).
Our apartment is located in the heart of Hillcrest in San Diego’s historic Uptown district. The neighborhood has so much to offer that you just might not want to leave: Balboa Park, Hillcrest Farmer’s Market, award-winning restaurants, vibrant nightlife, local craft breweries, the San Diego Zoo, and much more.
Everything you’d ever want to do in San Diego is literally just a few minutes away:

This is the second time we have stayed in this well appointed apartment and, as was true the first time, we were very pleased with our stay. Perfect location, nicely decorated, close to many very good restaurants, off street parking, which really helps in this popular and crowded neighborhood - the perfect size for two people. Our son lives right around the corner so the location is so convenient. Balboa Park and the museums are within walking distance. Check in and out very easy. If you are driving it is very easy to get to the airport from the apartment without even using the freeway . We will stay here again when we return to San Diego.
Very clean, great location. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance. The parking space was right next to the apartment and very convenient. Provided fast reliable wifi. Will stay there again on our next visit.
Great location. Great apartment. Only drawbacks were the very tight parking partially blocked on the street by an illegal Parker for 4 days (not hosts fault) and the noise from restaurant doing "deep cleaning" and moving equipment late one evening. Garbage bin in parking overflowing that is shared and very stinky since shared with French restaurant. Sewer smell from shower in the evening. During the day quite loud from upstairs office but we were out most days. These were overall minor issues. Notified property manager about each. French restaurant very good, many local dining and cafe options. Very walkable location.
The property was clean, well-equipped and exactly as described. The location was convenient, just a few minutes from the highway, airport and local attractions. Great energy in the surrounding neighborhood. Parking was a life-saver, but public transportation was also readily available. Will be recommending this property to others heading to San Diego.
The apartment was very modern and had all the conveniences one would expect. The location and parking were fine and the place was comfortable. I would recommend it.
We stayed in the apartment for four days. It was clean, well equipped, convenient and attractive. We were able to park our car and walk to a great number of restaurants. It is close to Balboa Park and, even better, two blocks from our son's apartment, so it couldn't have been a better choice. The check-in and check-out were effortless and accommodated our late arrival. We will definitely book a stay here again!
