The Saint Francis Lakeside condo complex sits on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe with gorgeous lake views from the private pebbly/stone beach and sweeping landscapes of lush green grass throughout the spring, summer and fall. Seasonal HOA amenities include private beach and pier, swimming pool and hot tub opening Memorial Day Weekend, sand volleyball court, horseshoes, and tennis courts, making this an ideal vacation rental. There's winter access to a community indoor hot tub (indoor hot tub is for ADULTS ONLY open Saturday & Sunday only then closing for season April 3rd) and close proximity to ski areas, including Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Homewood Mountain Resort and NorthStar. It's only1.5 miles to downtown Tahoe City, easily accessed along a paved bike path. Saint Francis #53 is an excellent family-friendly location or getaway for you and your friends!

This cheerful and bright townhome is fully renovated, with an up-to-date "mountain modern" vibe.

Enter on the lower level which offers a master suite with a plush King bed and 3/4 bathroom (large shower but no tub), a second bedroom with 2 Twin beds, along with a full guest bathroom and laundry in the hall.

Upstairs, the living room features a large flat screen TV over a gas fireplace, leather couch and 2 easy chairs. Off of the living room is a deck overlooking the Lake Forest Boat Launch. Dining area for 6 is situated next to the fully equipped kitchen. Third bedroom with Queen bed, private balcony and shared 3/4 bath (large shower but no tub) are also on this level.

In the hall next to the kitchen, a wooden ladder leads to a loft with games for the kids and 2 single-size futon chairs. YOU ARE ADVISED TO KEEP CHILDREN UNDER SUPERVISION IF USING THE LOFT AREA - USE WITH CAUTION!

Clean and Nice

My family enjoyed its stay. The condo was clean, tidy and well managed. Beds were all very comfortable. Very little to complain about, great location and complex is nice. Cons: bring shampoo, and it can get warm in afternoon.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the 3bd/3ba format we needed for four adults, in a great location just outside of Tahoe City near the shoreline. But there was not enough space for the too-large TV and other giant-sized furniture. The loft was completely useless with a scary vertical ladder that had all kinds of warnings on it. Wasted space that could have been useful. Bedroom TVs did not work. Clean and well-maintained with unexpectedly well-stocked kitchen although a kettle to boil water would have been nice. Overall layout of unit poorly designed from outset. Not that comfortable or relaxing to be honest.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and nicely appointed unit ... my only concern was the floors appeared to be quite dirty ... getting out of the shower and walking to the bedroom, the bottom of our feet were black with dirt ... had to wash them off before going to bed. The lock and lock boxes were a challenge ... they had to send a maintenance person to assist us ... minor inconveniences, and yes I would recommend this unit.
