About Geri

We enjoy an active lifestyle with our twins daughters and son, and love the variety of outdoor opportunities all within close proximity of our homes. We fell in love with Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley on our one year anniversary, and decided to make the Flathead Valley our place to one day raise our children. Whether hiking in Glacier National Park or rafting the Flathead River there is no shortage of fun activities. We are pleased to be able to share our home with guests looking to explore the outdoors, or who are just coming for some rest and relaxation.

Geri purchased this house in 2015

Why Geri chose Glacier Park

We love the small town atmosphere of Hungry Horse, and being close to Glacier National Park.

What makes this house unique

Close to all the adventurous activities we enjoy doing as a family, and only 10 minutes to Glacier National Park!

We really enjoyed our stay especially how close we were to the entrance to Glacier National Park and within walking distance to The Huckleberry Patch (great souvenirs and breakfast and huckleberry dessert)!

Very nice, clean and cozy cabin. Good place for visiting Glacier NP.

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 days exploring GNP with a family of 6. Out host, Geri, was very responsive, helped us to get whatever we wanted. She even dropped by to have a chat in person before we left.

The cabin was just like advertised on the property page. Clean, well equipped and spacy.

We came thru Kalispell and bought our food there but there are supermarkets close to the cabin for the daily shoppings. A gas station is just on the corner.

We want to thank for everything, we had a nice stay in Glacier Edge Retreat.

A great retreat for our family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed here for our summer vacation to Glacier National Park! The house was very clean and definitely served as a nice retreat for a home away from home! Geri is an incredible manager and was so helpful towards assisting us with any questions we had! We highly recommend going to the Huckleberry Patch for delicious ice cream! The proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and Glacier National Park made this a perfect location for our trip! Thanks Geri for all of your assistance in making wonderful, lifelong memories for our family!! Sincerely, Linda, John, Ryan and Betty

Glacier launch-pad

  • 4 of 5

Glacier Edge Retreat was indeed a convenient launching-off point for explorations in the park. The house was well-appointed and clean. Only concern was that some areas could get a bit warm in the summer, but I understand there are plans to install a fan in the back room. A few hiccups with wifi and security deposit, but the management (Geri) tried to be very responsive.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback! The rental agreement that is sent to guests in advance lists the check out time as 10am. This is to ensure that our cleaning crew has enough time to clean the home for the arrival of the next guests which are set to check in at 4pm. We take pride in ensuring that our home is in excellent condition for our guest's arrival. Glad the internet was fast and reliable! Thank you for choosing to stay at Glacier Edge Retreat.
