Located on beautiful Bishop Lake, this charming cabin has magnificent lake views and is a perfect nature getaway for families. With several restaurants in the area, it is also centrally located from several other recreational areas and activities: a five minute drive from Mole Lake Casino, a ten minute drive from Crandon, fifteen minutes to a local golf course, and less than an hour drive to Eagle River, and Rhinelander. Go fishing or swimming off of the dock, relax by the campfire, listen to the loons, and enjoy mother nature at it's finest! Outdoor highlights include a fire pit, paddle board, paddleboat, and a water trampoline for children. The cabin's interior features three bedrooms with two twin beds, one full size bed, and one full size bunk bed with twin bed on the top. We are looking to rent to responsible family oriented individuals only.
O my.....I don't know where to start. This is the ultimate spot for getting in touch with nature yet having the amenities of home. Tons of room in the cabin, nice new furniture, comfy beds and running hot and cold water for taking care of every need. ATV trails right there for a day of getting dirty and Crandon was just around the corner. Fishing was fantastic with a little help from the owners who are just a phone call away. Bonfires every night and a few games with my son before bed made every day special. If you need a recommendation, call me.......my son and I will join you :)
We just got home from an awesome five days of family fun on Bishop lake. Our small children had a great time playing in the lake and using the water trampoline. The lake's depth off the dock was perfect for the kids. Everything we needed for food by the fire was provided (we roasted marshmallows, hot dogs and made pudgie pies). The cabin was close enough to Crandon for a quick run into town for whatever we needed but was rustic enough to feel far from home. The kids loved that they had the option to use an outhouse, I was glad that was not the only option. Lol. I was a little surprised with how little there was to do in Crandon itself but that was, in part, because we went so late in the season. Overall it was a great experience! Thank you Mark and Suzy for sharing your getaway spot.
We totally enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Good fishing and everything we needed to fry them up for supper. We were able to ride our bike on the paved roads and explore the nearby towns. On a rainy day, we drove to Crandon and Three Lakes for shopping in the unique 'up north' stores. Koeppel's went out of their way to be sure everything was ready for us before we arrived. Nice area, nice cabin, super nice people!
Out family had a fun filled Fourth of July at this cabin. I have children from school age to teenage years and they kept busy all weekend fishing, swimming, campfires, roasting marshmallows, and exploring the great outdoors. We had plenty of room for a family and really appreciate the indoor bathroom with a shower. The Koeppel's really make sure you have what is needed and take the time to have the cabin ready for guests. The cabin is also close to many surrounding lakes that you can tube or water ski on. My children can't wait until next year to go back!
The Koeppel's cottage was extremely relaxing and a great getaway for my husband and I.The owners were very accomadating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.Although the lake was on the shallow side, the fishing was great and it was perfect for swimming a little farther from the dock. The cabin was very clean as well and we did not have any complaints. Thanks for a great stay Mark!
