About Coleta Wilson - Property Manager

The Velicers (Mark, Christine, Jessica, Carlina, and Tatianna) lived in this home when their 3 girls were very young, and now the family resides in Harleysville Pennsylvania. Christine works for Merck Pharmaceuticals after obtaining her doctorate in public health at UW Seattle. Mark is semi-retired and building a chain of Rita's italian dessert stores in Washington. He holds an MBA from UW Seattle and a Masters in Engineering Management from Cornell University. Mark grew up in Michigan, while Christine grew up in Pennsylvania.

Coleta Wilson - Property Manager purchased this house in 2003

Why Coleta Wilson - Property Manager chose Issaquah Highlands

We purchased this property given it's wonderfully planned neighborhood and community, full of parks, trails, scenic beauty, and proximity to all that the urban and rural areas have to offer. Issaquah was rated Washington's #1 town several years ago, come and experience why!

What makes this house unique

Our home is adjacent to a protected greenbelt in the rear, that is abundant with wildlife and will never be developed. Yet a walk, bike, or car ride down the hill puts you into any shop or service you would like. The home is a beautiful craftsman style, built by the Burnstead company. It catches the full afternoon sun which makes for a bright and relaxing house. It was recently fully repainted and refurbished, with striking accent colors combined with natural colors.

Beautiful and comfortable home

  • 5 of 5

We were visiting the area for a family wedding. There were 7 of us staying in the home. It was roomy, beautiful and very comfortable. The patio is a quiet place to sit and watch for wildlife. The surrounding neighborhood is gorgeous with walking trails. We took advantage of the restaurants and near by grocery store. The kids loved the game room with fuse ball and large TV just for them! The kitchen had all we needed to make fabulous meals. The house is large, so there was plenty of room to be together or to rest and have some quiet time. We would definitely recommend this home. It very nicely captures the spirit of Washington and made for a wonderful trip!

SPECTACULAR EXPERIENCE

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for a better experience for renting a home for our vacation to Seattle. The home was beautiful, very functional, and spacious - the kids really enjoyed the "bonus" room on the upper level, and found each bedroom to be very comfortable. The master bedroom and bathroom were wonderful as well. The hot tub was an added bonus! The kitchen had every amenity we needed - the neighborhood is gorgeous, and the drive to Seattle is not too bad..lots of nice hiking around the home...all in all, a great stay!

Beautiful Serenity

  • 5 of 5

Driving up through the Highlands neighborhood we were excited to see the home as the surrounding area was so quaint and beautiful, offering all that a family needs without leaving the area, including a movie theater.

The home is immaculate and smartly furnished, offering a welcoming feeling as one goes from room to room. The expansive wooded area in the backyard allows one to sit at the dining room area and spot for deer in a serene environment.

All the amenities are there and in working order. The Keurig supply is replenished. Beds and carpets are thoroughly clean that one can feel comfortable enough to sleep on the floor fronting the fireplace.

There is a large community park and walking paths just up the hill in walking distance. Although the owner of the property is immediately next door there was no intrusion of privacy, the only interaction was the dropping off of further supplies at the front door.

Given the opportunity to visit Washington again, I would stay here in a heartbeat.

Great House / Great City - We are Missing Issaquah

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. There are lots of parks nearby and the area has easy access into Seattle. If you like to hike, mountain bike, or run, there is a great path just a short ways up the road with beautiful scenery and great elevation change. There are also tons of places around the area for hiking or doing other outdoor activities. Our family loved staying here and we are missing Issaquah!

The house is truly beautiful inside and out - with all the amenities to call it home.

  • 5 of 5

We were elated with the size of the house and excellent presentation of each room. The comfort of the house helped to create unforgettable memories of our of daughter's graduation and family vacation. We'd love to return in the future.

Our neighborhood also has numerous parks, scenic view points, trails, and wildlife spotting all within close proximity to urban conveniences. We and our neighbors have spotted deer, coyotes, and even bears on the hillside and woods behind our neighborhood.
