Family vacation to Acadia National Park

  • 4 of 5

This house is big for our family of 8 adults. We can sit at the dinning room table to eat and hang out. The living room has a queen sofa bed and its a nice place to watch TV. The kitchen is nice and big with dish washer, oven, stove, microwave to make the job of cooking easy. The house is clean and well decorated with cute things all through the house. We appreciate the thoughts behind making the guests feel comfortable and welcome. Big compliments of the well stock of sheets and towels. The Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Wine, bottled water makes great convenience in the morning and after a full day of sightseeing or hiking. Thank you for all that you do to make the house so inviting for our family.

We do have some suggestions for you.

1. The upstairs bathroom freshener is empty.

2. It would be nice to have a hair dryer.

3. Some of the beds are too soft and not so comfortable.

4. 2 doors' locks need repair and we are glad the neighborhood is so safe.

5. Downstairs bathroom door lock also need fixing.

6. In the kitchen there are some brick work on the floor that we keep tripping on, we end up putting bags and boxes along the edges to remind us to save our toes. Ouch!

7. One shower curtain hook fell off. The "star fish hook" was sharp and double ouch! We recommend plastic circle rounds that don't fall off so easy.

These are suggestions, and with minor repairs or changes will make your house even better and safer for all and please do not interpret as complaints. Overall the house is very good and we would recommend Corea to others. Thanks again.

Charming house within walking distance of Corea Harbor

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was quiet, clean and well equipped. We found a large kitchen, inviting deck, large yard and comfortable beds - everything we needed! Brenda was responsive to any and all questions. We love the Schoodic Peninsula, and have had great experiences with everyone we've met. Our recent stay just further cemented it as our 'go-to' spot to get away. We'll be back!

Great location, with lots of room

  • 5 of 5

Lots of room for our large family, all the amenities and more! Very clean and maintained.

We spent most of our time on the large deck , cooking lobsters , 20 to be exact. Watching Lobster fisherman come and go in the harbor is a morning ritual for us , on the deck. Corea has been a special place for our family,

many memories and friends.

Would recommend this to family and friends, and I have.
