Overview

About the property

Fancy schmancy hotels that rival 93 Kingʼs location can cost $400 a night. And unless you roll deep with a suite, you get a plain old hotel room - not always conducive or affordable when traveling others (umm, Kids - or another couple}. 93 King has 2 Queen BR's with TV's, full kitchen, washer/dryer, an ADA bathroom, Smart TV, WIFI, wireless soundbar for music or netflix, a spot to sit outside and enjoy St. Augustine's amazing climate, and private parking. Not that you'll need to drive much. 93 King is smack dab in the center of it all — just 53 steps from the Flagler College campus. The downtown sites, shops, restaurants, and bars are just outside the front door. Don't feel like walking? The trolleys continually pick up and drop off in the backyard at the Villa Zorayda. So you can park your car, stash your keys and enjoy town.

From the Owners – Mike & Katharine | Matt & Maggie

We've owned 93 King since back in 2015 and lived here in St. Augustine since 1990 while attending Flagler College. So we don't just know the best places to shop, eat, and drink. We KNOW the best places to shop, eat, and drink. There's a difference. As a guest you'll gain access to our locals guide to the best spots.

Letʼs face it — if you choose 93 King, youʼre not really a tourist. More like a traveler. Youʼre probably not going to pick up 3rd degree burns at the beach, bathe in aloe, then stand in line at some tourist trap for a “Fried Captain's Platter.”

We know you. We are you. And we'd appreciate you staying at 93 King. Often.

Think youʼll like it.

Great location, but dirty

  • 4 of 5

House is in the best spot in St. Augustine. You can walk anywhere in town within 10 minutes. Accommodations are roomy, but the cleanliness of the house was poor. The carpets in the bedrooms have not been vacuumed in months, mold in the shower walls and floor, toilet was filthy and the floors throughout the house as well. We had to go straight to the market and buy Clorox wipes to clean and disinfect the bathroom & kitchen. We swept the floors and tried mopping them clean. Not the most ideal way to start a vacation.

Aside from that, we had fun.

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

It's a small, but adorable cottage right across from Flagler college and it seemed like a 5 min walk to just about everywhere! My husband, teenage son and I had plenty of room! Lots of extra towels were nice! We had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time in St. Augustine - we could walk almost everywhere from here & not worry about parking. Loved the styling of this cottage. Great amenities. Reasonable price. We will be back!

Perfect for us

  • 5 of 5

We chose 93 King Street because it let us walk to all the places we wanted to see in the St Augustine historic district. There is a number-code door lock, so we didn't have to worry about keys. The house was nicely furnished, neat and clean. And no stairs, not even steps to climb: an important point for septuagenarians.

Weekend with friends

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at 93 King for a long weekend with another couple for my wife's birthday. We wanted a kid free stress free weekend and boy oh boy did 93 King deliver. This place is so perfect. They provide everything you need and even some stuff you don't. The guitar was a great touch as was the record player. All four of us enjoyed it very much and we will most definitely be back and if 93 King isn't available we will schedule our weekend for when it is. Its that great of a little place.

Nice location and Immaculate!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 day stay here. We took the scenic cruise from the marina and enjoyed the Christmas lights by horse and carriage. The location/parking can't be beat! Just a short walk to the center of historic downtown. Place was clean and well stocked though it would have been nice if some bath/shower products were available. All in all, we would recommend this place to a friend and would stay here again.

Cons: No contact with the property owner. The real estate agent sent me misinformation a couple of times which I realized after asking questions. Also we didn't appreciate being asked to strip beds and start laundry. For the price we should not have to do this. If you're looking for a place with a view this is not for you. Views are of parking lots. Also the floors are concrete with cracks.
