Master bed has, new, beautiful queen size sleigh bed. Living room, upgraded mattress on queen size, pull out sofa sleeper. HD Televisions and high speed internet on, Huge 55" flat screen in living room and 30" bedroom. Upgraded kitchen, full size fridge, microwave, stove. Laundry located on premises. Heated pool steps away. Quiet gated property featuring a Boutique building. Electric, Cable TV, Internet and private safe provided.

Situated directly behind the famous Galleria mall. Walk to the Blue Martini for Happy Hour. Surrounded by million dollar homes and condominiums and all their amenities!

Direct access to high end shopping, car rental, upscale and mid range dining, grocery store, liquor store, water taxi and spectacular night life. Literally within 1 block. Just a 5 minute taxi to Famous Wilton Manors drive and its attractions, bars and nightlife. One block from the intercostal waterway. Situated between, a city park and a state park. Just minutes to downtown. Water taxi 1 block away. Car rental just 1 minute walk away. Rent a car if you like, though probably not necessary and explore to your hearts content. Approximately 30 minute drive to Miami.

About Larry and Dan

I am retired Police Officerand live in Chicago area. My spouse and I were looking for a great get away, in the sun. I wanted to be close to everything and the finer points of Fort Lauderdale living. Everything had to be walkable, as I didn't want to be tied to renting a car every time i have the opportunity to come down.

This condominium is that, proverbial needle in a hay stack. It is perfect in every way. Location. Comfortable feel and quiet, secure surroundings. Near all the amenities we could muster. This is and always has been a smoke free unit. No smoking is allowed in the unit.

What makes this condo unique

We are in a secure, clean,gated property, boutique building. We are nestled in an area of million dollar homes and condos, as well as luxury hotel and hotel residences. We share in all the amenities and are able to have them at a lower cost.

We are walking distance to everything we could possibly imagine and feel very fortunate to have been able to acquire this place and share it with our vacationers.

The entire unit was just updated. All high end finishes and top of the line furniture. All furnishings and linens new. The closest grocery stores are Williams-Sonoma, and Publix Super Market at Galleria. Nearby coffee shops include The Mermaid Bar, Tango Cafe and Starbucks. Nearby restaurants include Sbarro, Waffy's and Seasons 52.PF Changs, 2424 NE 9th St is near Birch State Park, English Park and Jack & Harriet Kaye Park Bonnet Gardens and Hugh State Park.. There are new bike lanes and the terrain is flat as a pancake and is bikable. This is a non smoking unit. No smoking allowed.

Wonderful winter retreat

This is our third year staying at Colonial Manor West. We love the convenience to everything Ft. Lauderdale has to offer – beaches, restaurants, nature parks, shopping. There is even a nice small movie theater around the corner. The condo is clean, neat, well equipped, and has an inviting décor. The condo complex with its swimming pool is meticulously maintained. We look forward to our visit each year.

Perfect getaway!

The apartment was a great find.... The kitchen was very well equipped and the place was spotless. The location is great too. Close to supermarket and Starbucks etc. We had an amazing time and will definitely to booking again in the future.

"Our Home" in Florida

This was our 2nd year at this small, meticulously maintained condo complex near The Galleria Mall. Convenient location to stores, restaurants, parks, Bonnet House, and of course the beach is about a 10 minute walk. Water taxi stop is also nearby.

Condo unit is neat, clean, well equipped, and has an interesting, eclectic collection of art work. The unit is on the 3rd floor with an elevator. Unit also has assigned parking. We plan on renting again next year as it feels like “Our Home” in Florida.

Very good place to be again, and will repeat again for the next vacation, recommended for everybody who would like to be near the sea (one mile and 10 minutes walking), every thing was clean.

Great Condo

I had a wonderful stay in this condo. The place is clean and well-decorated, with a ton of room for storage between the closet and dressers in the bedroom. The neighbors are quiet. We rented a car, so the included reserved parking spot was appreciated, but having a car is not necessary. The property is right next door to a great mall for shopping. I definitely recommend the Blue Martini for happy hour! It takes about 15 minutes to get to the beach on foot, but there is also a small pool on the property. Publix was conveniently close for groceries and the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, utensils, and cookware needed to cook for ourselves. Since we had the car, we made a few day trips to nearby Boca for the nature center/sea turtle hospital and South Beach. This location is great because there are plenty of activities, but relaxing enough to feel like you're at home. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing place to stay!

This condo is a great place to stay. The accommodations were extremely clean and there was even a parking spot. Located directly across from a mall with only a scenic 15 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to cook meals at home. There was a wide variety of activities in the area which made the location ideal. Would recommend this place to anyone interested in a relaxing and fun get away!
