One of Boulder's unique and magical properties in a magnificently tree-covered street in Boulder. Peaceful and serene, bird songs fill the air in this bird sanctuary at the foothills of the Rockies. The neighborhood is unique in its diversity and proximity to all things Boulder.

What makes this apartment unique

Walking distance (just a few blocks!) to downtown Boulder, Pearl Street Mall, Boulder Creek, Boulder's amazing Farmer's Market (on Saturdays and Wednesdays from April to November), and the university. A moment's drive to the mouth of beautiful Boulder Canyon or hike on neighborhood trails up to the top of Flagstaff mountain, or walk the many miles along Boulder Creek accessed one and half blocks from the house. Bike rentals a few blocks away to enjoy Boulder's FAMOUS extensive and beautiful bike paths.

Relax in the Boulder Art Scene

My son and I came to Boulder a few days early for his Freshman year at CU. We loved the privacy and the calm before his storm, having just the right amount of space to unwind. Close to Pearl Street, the Bandshell, Boulder Creek, CU and the Hill - all within walking distance .The unit has a quiet charm with great examples of Boulder art everywhere, a wonderful master suite upstairs and plenty of living space downstairs. Having a personal carport off the street was nice too. Kevan was accessible and full of stories which made the stay even more memorable!

Fabulous stay in Boulder

A most comfortable place; great location, easy walk to everything, close hiking, beautiful grounds/art, nice linens. A kitchen with everything we needed, including a pizza cutter. Welcoming host. Kevan; we'd love to stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Could not have made a better choice

Charming, great location, friendly and accommodating owner, well appointed kitchen, bath and rest if house - nothing was lacking. What more could you ask for? What a great introduction to Boulder. I walked everywhere - river, parks, mountains, grocery store, Pearl Street. I can't wait to come back! Oh and did I mention quiet and private :-) Thank you

Lovely artistic VRBO in a quiet Boulder location

We were the first guests to stay at this location in early August. Booking was easy and Cindy (the manager) and Kevan (the owner) were both really nice. Everything was clean, there were plenty of kitchen implements, and the we found the decor (inside and out) lovely. It was really quiet at night and the location is great. Easy walking distance to Alfalfa's grocery store, Pearl St Mall, Boulder Creek Path, and the Chautauqua trail head.

A couple nights were hotter than normal and it was a little toasty at night without AC, but there was a fan and we managed without too much trouble. Regardless, it wouldn't dissuade us from staying there again and we hope to next year!

Unique and welcoming property in a convenient Boulder location

We stayed at this VRBO for eight nights in August 2015. It's new as a VRBO property; we were the second to stay there as VRBO renters. The main floor has a living room and kitchen, and upstairs is a bedroom with large sitting area, and a bathroom. The unit is owned by an artist, Kevan Krasnoff. His home and studio is attached to the VRBO. We talked with Kevan a few times, and he gave us a tour of his sculpture garden and studio. We purchased a painting from the wall of our living room and a small metal sculpture from the studio.

The VRBO is in a unique area. We liked it. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and college student housing. Since we happened to be there as the students were returning in late-August, they were a little noisy for a couple of nights, but not too bad. There is no air conditioning, but with the windows open and the fan on, it was comfortable for sleeping. The unit was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we could need - pots, pans, eating utensils, plates, cups, etc. We bought groceries at some of the nearby stores, and at the Wednesday farmers' market in town, and cooked many of our meals at the VRBO. Kevan's artwork is on display throughout the VRBO and the garden outside, and we enjoyed finding pieces tucked in various places!

Within walking distance is Pearl Street Mall. That's a fun place to spend some time. At a leisurely stroll, it took us 10 - 12 minutes to get to Pearl Street. We walked there several times to check out the shops, dine in the local restaurants, and watch the street entertainers.

Even closer than Pearl Street is a nice bike path, Boulder Creek. One day we walked to University Bicycles and rented bikes to ride on the path.

Kevan told us about a hiking trail a short walk from the VRBO. We walked up the side of a hill and ended up at a great viewing platform which looked over the city of Boulder.

We hope to stay here again next summer - it is reasonably priced, clean, and is near the university and town. We like the unique atmosphere of this location and VRBO.
