Large lake house with unbelievable views that can accommodate 3-4 families fairly easily. 5 Bedrms and 3 bathrms, plus plenty of room for air mattresses! 1500 feet to beach at high water. Only 2 miles west of Bayside Golf Course on the south side of the lake for golf enthusiasts. There is a great general store right down the hill from the house. Gigantic deck for entertaining all your friends while taking in the amazing sunsets. Plenty of parking.
Very nice cabin with an awesome view of the lake
The house was really accommodating for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. Lots of room to gather and be together. Good selection of games to play. Great updates that have been done to the house.
Owner was quickly attentive to any questions we had and provided great directions and information packet for visitors.
We cooked meals at the house and went in to Ogallala a couple times - once to Open Range Grill (great food!) and Valentinos (we saw Tom Osborne! highlight of the trip to some). Both good meals. Ogallala is a solid half hour drive.
We enjoyed the large house, there was plenty of room inside and outside. The large kitchen made cooking for a group easy. The views from the porch were great. Plenty of parking for large vehicles.
My entire family used this property as a vacation spot, so that we could all get together.
The house was very accommodating and easily slept all 17 of us (10 Adults and 7 Children).
It had everything we could ask for and Keith was very responsive whenever we had a question.
Overall, the experience and house was fantastic.
We had a family reunion at Lake McConaughy, where we used to meet and sail our Hobie Cats. The house was perfect for us. The lake view was great. It's large and comfortable, and we were able accommodate 12 adults and 9 kids. We made a couple runs to Ogallala for food and adult beverages, and we rented a boat for an afternoon.
We highly recommend this house for several people for a long weekend getaway.
Wonderful property. The owners were great and patient with all my questions. A kid friendly place with lots and lots of room (not hard to have privacy or be all together). Really appreciated the toys in the basement. The kids loved the ice cream scoops (that is what they called them). I left a princess castle for others to enjoy.
The kitchen is fully stocked with good pots and pans and knives. I would recommend getting a Keurig and a selection of coffee. I've appreciated that at other properties.
The views are fantastic. Beautiful sunrise and was joined by two owls! The deck is absolutely wonderful. Used the grill and the firepit and enjoyed both.
We played golf at Bayside. Very close and convenient. The boys golfed in Ogalala which was a cheaper option.
Also enjoyed swimming in the lake by Kingsley Dam. There is access to the lake close to the house but it was worth the drive for the sandy beach, plus you won't want to miss the dam. My grandkids first experience with waves.
I recommend arrive during the day. It is kind of difficult to find. Look for Lynn's Loop. Probably couldn't get there with a low car. Glad we had the truck.
I would recommend new chairs in the kitchen and hanging the TV in the master bedroom. Also replacing the carpet in the two bedrooms upstairs.
Great place to say and I would rent again. Thank you Keith for your willingness to share this wonderful home!
