Remodeled home, barn, and fenced pasture on five acres. Tucked in the Bridger foothills, this home is 10 miles from downtown Bozeman, and 6-7 miles from Bridger Bowl and Bohart Ski areas. Yellowstone Park and Big Sky Resort are easy day trips. Mountain biking, hiking, picnicking, and running trails nearby. Beautiful views. Two bedrooms (one king/one queen), and two fold out couches to sleep up to 7 adults. Hardwood floors, large windows, beautiful views, hot tub, deck, and wildlife. Satellite television, high speed internet. A beautiful tranquil spot for any vacation.
I am a veterinarian and have live in Bozeman since 2000. For may years I worked as a wildlife veterinarian, providing veterinary oversight on local and international studies of carnivore populations; cougars, wolverines, and bears in the the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, and tigers, leopards, and bears in the Russian Far East. In the most recent years, I have been raising a beautiful daughter, and running a small animal hospital in Bozeman. This is a beautiful area and this house is such a tranquil retreat. I love it.
Owner/Manager purchased this house in 2000
Although only 10 miles from downtown Bozeman, this property is secluded and serene. It has easy access to wonderful outdoor activities including downhill and cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, hunting, and snow shoeing. Downtown is only 10 miles away, but feels a lot further!! There are a billion stars at night, and I sleep outside every chance I get. In the right times of the year you can hear the coyotes, bugling elk, and sometimes even wolves.
I fell in love with this home because of the wonderful views. The woods outside the dining room have deer in them all the time. In fact, a doe comes every year to have her babies here! We have horses too, so watching them from the kitchen table with my morning cup of coffee is very special. Last year a bull moose spent a few days in our field wooing a female in estrus. That was amazing!!
Loved this older ranch home in a beautiful area. Well equipped for cooking, roomy, clean and comfortable. Arrival instructions were right on with keys and property ready with absolutely no trouble at all. Will definitely rent again and will recommend to others without hesitation.
We go to Bozeman once a year.
I want to stay here again!
The rolling hills and beautiful views, combined with the comfortable beds, Dancer the horse, (who likes carrots and having her butt itched), to the deer standing in the yard when I walked out on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee. - if you can't relax here- give up!
Perfect little house convenient to Bozeman in a beautiful setting. Owner available and happy to help with any questions. Spa was an added bonus after an all day ride!
Quiet, peaceful... 1 bath makes it ideal for 2. Nice kitchen, living room, decks, well equipped, comfortable beds. Would stay there again.
Peaceful, scenic. Everything you could ask for in a vacation home in the mountains.
This wonderfully peaceful place, with amazing mountain views, was a great base camp for our summertime long weekend in the Bozeman area, providing easy access to Yellowstone NP and all the outdoor activity available in Bozeman. Main Street is about a 15 minute drive, the airport is 20 minutes away, and Yellowstone's north entrance is reachable in 1.5 hours (2 hours to the West Yellowstone entrance). The furnishings were clean and comfortable, including firm beds, and the ample outdoor deck space enabled us to enjoy 360-degree mountain views up close - as well as the hot tub. The site (but not the house itself) is home to dogs, cats and a horse in a stable, which is a bonus for pet lovers.
