About this property

The ideal house at the foot of Acropolis.

My apartment is a spacious and cozy place 63 square meters, perfectly located in the heart of the historic center of Athens, in the neighborhood of Thiseio, few meters away from Apostolou Pavlou pedestrian street. Acropolis Hill and Ancient Agora is only 10 minutes walking.
The location couldn’t be better.
The metro station is only 3 minutes away thats why it is an ideal getaway destination for someone who wants to explore the city of Athens.
The view from the shared rooftop (two floors up by narrow, typical, back stairs) is spectacular. Guests can enjoy the privacy of the whole apartment which I always make sure to be clean and neat.
Whenever is in our hand, we will be glad to offer an early check-in or late check-out.

Perfect location

From the initial booking to our departure we received excellent customer service from Irene. The apartment is in a perfect location to walk to all the sights of Athens. There is a supermarket and fabulous bakery close by and lots of cafes and restaurants a stones throw away. Everything was perfect although I would advise care locking and unlocking the door to the street as we managed to pinch our fingers. Altogether a wonderful apartment, location and customer care. We will book again.

Great location to explore Athens

Basic, but brilliant little base from which to explore the "must-see" attractions of Athens, and to simply take time to wind down and relax. A great view of the Acropolis for evening drinks/self catering on the roof terrace. You only really need the bus if you want a day at the beaches - it's only a short walk to the interchange for buses.

Athens visit October 2019

The property was as described, clean, homely and well located for the purpose of our visit. Irene arranged for all of of our taxis during our week and was a great help in assisting with advising on local attractions etc. We had a great week and would go back in a heart beat.

Wonderful comfortable stay

Lovely spacious property in a fabulous safe location. Very close to Thissio metro stop and walking distance to the Acropolis and other major sights. Irene was a great host giving us advice on where to go and places to eat at. She helped us on departure day when we were affected at short notice by a transport strike. The roof terrace is lovely with amazing views. Highly recommended

My favorite time of the day ... is late in the evening. When everyone in the house has been asleep and the city has plummeted. It's time to enjoy my drink on the terrace and plan the next day or not !
My decision to host people from other countries in my home came effortlessly. It seemed very interesting to me to meet people with other cultures, other interests than usual.

Why they chose this property

My apartment is located at the foot of Acropolis Hill, walking distance to all ancient sights, parks, art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining spots. The center of the city, (Syntagma square, Ermou street, National Garden, etc) are easily accessible either by foot or by metro.
