The "Log Cabin" is built on the side of a mountain among a few pines and a small aspen grove and faces the Gore Range to the west. Buffalo Mountain is clearly visible to the southwest. From the back windows and the turret you can watch the sunrise over the Williams Fork Range in the morning or see the Blue River on the valley floor. The great room with floor-to-ceiling windows faces south. Downtown Silverthorne, Dillon Dam, and the Keystone ski slopes are visible night and day.
The "Log Cabin" is a full log home with almost 3000 square feet of space on three levels. The main level and loft have a southwestern theme while the lower level has mostly log furniture. The loft has the master bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath. The main level is an open space with the great room, dining room, and kitchen, which has additional counter space for eating. There is also a full bath on this level. The garage is accessed from this level.
On the lower level one bedroom has a queen bed another has a rather large bunk bed and the third has a queen sleeper and opens to a sunroom. There is a full bath plus a second vanity sink and the washer and dryer just outside of it. The remainder of the lower level is a recreation room which has a pool table.
An addition fee of $50 per person/per night, will be applied for over 8 occupants.
