Great place in a good neighborhood.

Great place, very clean and good space. Nice and open. Josh was a great host and was very responsive. Right near the California stop on the blue line so super easy to get to/from Ohare and easy to get downtown.

Great property, wonderful location, no issues or concerns!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 3 nights and went to Hamilton, Cubs game, Navy Pier, Willis Tower, all the normal tourist sites. The el is literally 500 steps from the front door. We parked our car and never moved it the whole time we were there. We took the train and buses the entire stay. The proximity to the metra station was key to our visit. Neighborhood felt safe, condo was amazingly spacious and clean. So nice to have 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. Only one suggestion would be to have an iron and ironing board. Otherwise amazing stay. Josh is a wonderful owner and nice guy - checked in with us but never intruded. You can't go wrong staying here and we will be back on our next trip to Chicago.

Coming from the UK we rented Josh's apartment for 2 weeks as we were visiting our son who is studying in Chicago. The apartment was just as described and was a great space for our party of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The apartment was much better for us than a hotel and allowed us to cater for ourselves with all the amenities required. We even cooked up a steak dinnner on the BBQ. Emergency patio seats promptly delivered by josh who was very responsive to all enquiries. The location was great really near the train station and a very reasonable priced uber ride from downtown Chicago. Local restaurants were great we tried revolution brewery, Logan bar and grill and had carry out pizza from the boiler room. All in all great location , lovely spacious apartment and would return.

Very nice condo in convenient location

  • 4 of 5

This condo was very spacious and nicely updated. It was very clean. The bunk bed in the second bedroom was great for our 3 young boys. I loved having 2 bathrooms. It is located about a block and a half away from the train station. It was also close to restaurants. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the parking situation. There was a reserved parking spot behind the building, but it was very narrow and we could not fit our Honda Pilot into it. I think it would have been very tight even for a compact car. The street in front of the building was all reserved zone parking, so we could not park there. We had to park on the street about a block and a half away. The owner, Josh, was very responsive. He checked in to see how our stay was, and even contacted his neighbor to ask them to move their car over slightly so that we could try to park our car. I would rent this condo again.

Beautiful condo, close to restaurants and the subway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed with our 6, 11 and 16 year old children. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated and seemed to be in a nice neighborhood. The next street over had a Chicago police station from what we could tell. Within walking distance to restaurants, Dollar Spree and Family Dollar (for items you may have forgot to pack or some food items). A very short walk to the subway for your transportation needs into the city. It's close to one of the major highways in Chicago making it easy to get to and easy to get back on the highway when needed. Chicago traffic can be crazy. There is a parking spot in the back of the condo for a vehicle, which is convenient, but it is small as we drove an SUV. You do hear the subway running often but my family had no issues sleeping through the noise. There are no TV's in the bedrooms for those that like to watch TV at night to fall asleep or help drown out the noise of the subway. That would be something we would suggest but would not keep us from staying there again. The owner was friendly, quick to respond to messages and easy to get ahold of. Very helpful in answering questions about the city. I was a little unsure about taking our younger kids on the subway. We are from the STL area and the subway isnt always the safest place where we live. We had no issues riding with our kiddos. My only advice would be to try and avoid the work "rush hours". It seemed to be very busy and more hectic for us trying to figure out where we needed to go when it was crowded and people pushing to get to work. We had a great stay and will stay again if we go back to Chicago.
