Great location! Immaculate 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage in a friendly neighborhood. Plenty of off street parking. A 10 minute walk to downtown St. Augustine - St. George Street and other attractions - and only 10 minutes drive to the surrounding beautiful beaches. Walking distance to the very popular Lincolnville Restaurants - the Ice Plant Bar and Distillery and the Blue Hen. Located in historic Lincolnville on Lake Maria Sanchez.
Built in 1925, the Weeden Street Cottage just underwent a total remodeling. The original Heart of pine floors have been preserved. The kitchen was completely updated with new cabinets, appliances, granite countertops and a glass back splash. The beautiful bathroom is new and spotless. The house is impeccably decorated with original paintings by local artists and luxurious furniture. Newly landscaped yard with hummingbird and butterfly friendly plants. Very comfortable front and back porch. High speed WiFi and Cable with 120+ channels (including ESPN).
No events, gatherings or parties.
No smoking inside of the cottage.

Please treat the cottage and neighbors with respects.
I loved this little house. It was a great location, with downtown St. Augustine within walking distance. The house was charming and clean. My husband and I enjoyed being greeted each morning by the little cat, Brownie that lived outside. The caretaker was very friendly and stopped by to tell us about the local attractions. If I was to go back to St. Augustine, I would definitely rent again.
What a lovely little cottage in a sweet, authentic neighborhood. The location was perfect--outside the hustle and bustle of the very center of downtown but close enough to everything to comfortably walk. Even at 7.5 months pregnant, I was still able to walk to the center of town for dinner. With a toddler in tow, this central location made it easy to schlep back and forth for nap time between sightseeing outings. Meanwhile, the cottage itself was super cute and very clean. Elliot's decorating and artwork gives it a nice old-Florida charm and as a bonus the porch kitty Brownie (she never tries to go inside!) absolutely melted my 2-year-old daughter's heart. We felt very comfortable hanging out in our down time--in the evenings we snuggled up on the couch and listened to the cicadas put on their symphony from the old, Spanish moss-draped oak trees just outside. We'll definitely try to stay here next time we get a chance to come up to St. Augustine. So much better than an overpriced and cramped hotel. Thanks for a great experience
Awesome location, Walking distance to the historical district. Perfect for a small family it has everything you need. We would definitely stay there again!!
We stayed here for a wedding weekend recently and absolutely loved it. It is a cute little cottage in a great area of town- very close to downtown, the owner was responsive and very friendly, and the entire place was very comfortable, cute, and super clean. We had five people, one who slept on the giant couch with no problems. It was roomy and fun! Each of us would happily stay here again.
My friend and I stayed here for a girls' weekend and had a wonderful time. The cottage was cute inside & out (loved the finishes) but I think we were most impressed with how comfortable it was. After a long day walking around, it was nice to sit on a comfortable couch and ESPECIALLY nice for me with a bad back to enjoy a VERY comfortable bed. Also loved having laundry there and a great bathroom. Thank you for the awesome wi-fi as well (I do lots of video uploads to YouTube!).... we didn't use the TV once, so can't comment on that, but noticed it was there :) Walking distance into town was pretty easy. There are a few things that could be improved (more dishes, wider parking area, etc) but nothing that would keep me from recommending it or staying again! We had a fabulous time.
We chose this rental because of its unique and charming appeal. This recently renovated cottage is located in an up-and-coming, artsy and historic neighborhood that is close to downtown. We could walk to breakfast at a great restaurant called The Blue Hen. What a find! The food was amazing!
The owner was extremely accommodating, and he gave us all the information that we needed. He even told me about the artwork in the cottage (beautiful) that was done by a St. Augustine artist who lived in the home. Some of the artwork is of the home itself.
We plan to stay here again the next time we visit St. Augustine! We highly recommend this historic and charming place! I fell in love with the outdoor cat (Brownie) and I think the feeling was mutual. :)
