Fun for all the family: There is something for everyone at La Cartuja. *** For the golfer, there are several golf courses, with the Atalaya Golf and Country Club with its two 18 hole championship courses, driving range and putting green just five minute walk. *** Atalaya Park Hotel has a sporting club, with water sports, mini golf, gymnasium, indoor heated pool, sauna and jacussi. La Senza close by has spa and treatments. ** For the children, visit the water parks at Torremolinas, Selwo wild life Park is just a few minutes drive and Tivoli theme park is within half hour drive.** Some fine restaurants available locally, lovely beach side restaruants in San Pedo and right along the coast, or visit Benhavis for real value. For night life there are several English and Irish bars, some the karaoke, or visit Puerto Banus famous for its night clubs and bars. For shopping visit the super shopping centres with designer shops. The local market at Puerto Banus on Sat am is a must. Great value in leather, paintings etc

Beaches: There are several beaches available locally. ***** The closest is at San Pedro which is 3 to 5 mins drive,***** Puerto Banus is approx 5 to 6 mins, ******Marbella 10 mins and Estepona 10 mins. ***** Each has long marble promenade with children's play grounds close by. ***** Exercise equipment is available for adults along the promenades. ***** An abundance of water sports are available with boat trips, banana boats and jet ski. ***** There are many excellent beach-side bars and restaurants along the promenade. ***** For the touch of luxury visit Bora Bora Beach or Laguna Village with their high quality sunbeds and luxury dining.

Day Trips: Day trips include the historic town of Rhonda, Mijas Pueblo with its quaint shops and breath taking views. Gibraltar is just 30 minutes drive. Visit the famous marina at Puerto Banus and the old town of Marbella with the famous Orange Square. Terife where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean is approximately 30 minutes drive along the Autovia E15. The markets of Puerto Banus on Sat am and Marbella on Mon am are not to be missed.Smaller markets at Buena Vista on Saturdays.

We love the tropical gardens in La Cartuja with it's three swimming pools. We love the serenity of the place with the birds singing.

What makes this apartment unique

The gardens are amazing. You could spend the day walking around them. We love being able to walk out on to the gardens from the apartment and the lovely garden view.

My golfing friends and I have stayed at this apartment for the past three years and we are delighted to give it a recommendation. It is lovely apartment, in a lovely resort with wonderful gardens and swimming pools. It is close to fantastic Golf courses - Atalaya Old, being next door and a great course. There are some lovely restaurants close by - Ramos being our favourite. We can't wait to go back again next year.

Lovely clean apartment, all amenities including travel cot, high chair and even some toys. La Cartuja has 3 swimming pools and a baby pool. Great location. 2nd time back and hoping to go for a third time next year! Highly recommend.

Stayed in this apartment recently and had an amazing time. The development is a low rise spacious complex with 3 pools - one of which is almost in front of this apartment, which meant we always had a private pool :) Its a nice quiet complex, with an excellent supermarket and the gorgeous restaurant Ramos within 2 mins drive. Very quiet so exactly what you need to recharge your batteries. If you are travelling with children this perfect as it has a kiddies pool and lots of space for them to play. Cannot reccommend enough!

We had a great time in this beautiful appartment. No complaints, everything super. Nice location, very clean, complete. Great swimming Pools. By car close to beach and supermarket. For the teenage children the most important thing called WIFI worked perfect. We strongly recommend this appartment. If you would like to rent a car we have for the last three years very positieve experience with "www.sunnycars.com" .

Wonderful apartment and location!

We had a glorious week in Marion's apartment on the beautiful, manicured site of La Curtuja Golf. The apartment was clean and spacious with good facilities and dining area outside overlooking the beautiful grounds with 3 pools available for use.

The apartment is easy access to Benhavis, Marbella and Porto Benus with many dining and site seeing opportunities. I would certainly recommend this property.

Thank you Marion for an enjoyable stay we hope to book again next year.

Spacious lounge/dining room fully furnished including a couch bed to accommodate a fifth guest, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave etc. Utility room with sink, washing machine and dryer. Fully air conditioned with heating available for winter months. Tennis and parking are free of charge. Private sun terrace with loungers, reclining chairs, dining table and dining chairs, may be completely shaded with the sun awnings. While this apartment is privately owned, it is managed by an English speaking Management company available to assist guests with any problems they may experience with the accommodation etc. Smoking outdoors only please. Sorry no pets allowed.
