Beautiful ground floor apartment in a small private and secure development in Playa Serena. Apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, air con in all bedrooms and living area, satellite TV (European and UK) and WIFI. There is also a spacious terrace with fantastic private plunge pool. The terrace gets sun all afternoon. There is also a communal pool and gardens with sun loungers and parasols which overlooks the Playa Serena golf course. The development is close to the natural park and bird reserve.

This apartment is in a small recently built development in a quiet family friendly location in Playa Serena, the most desirable part of the Roqueats de Mar resort.

The attractive building is in a lovely location overlooking the playa Serna golf course. It has a well maintained communal garden area and pool with sun loungers and parasols. Unlike many other developments the pool area is rarely crowded, even in high season.

The apartment is modern, bright and spacious with beautiful polished marble floors. It has 2 bedrooms plus a spacious and comfortable double sofa bed. There is combined air con/heating with individual controls in the bedrooms and lounge area.

The apartment is on the ground floor and so benefits from easy access to the communal pool area. However, it also has a large terrace with private plunge pool, perfect for cooling off or having fun. This unique feature is a real plus especially as the terrace gets the sun all afternoon.

The terrace has sun loungers, a parasol, outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ. Relax in the evening as the sun sets behind the distant Sierra Nevada and Sierra de Gador mountains.

Perfect!

This is our 5th year visiting this apartment which says it all! We started going as a couple and this year with our 18 month old son. The apartment is just lovely and has everything you could possibly want. The plunge pool is perfect and again is more than enough for what you need to cool off. The communal swimming pool is also very lovely and usually empty which is great if you fancy having a swim. Every year we have been Donal has always been on hand to contact should we need him. This is always peace of mind. The apartment itself is located at the quiet end of the town which we find perfect as you can sit on the patio and listen to nothing but the sound of crickets whilst watching the sun set, or head to the restaurants and bars which is a 15 minute walk so best of both :)

I have been going to Roquetas for over 20 years and would never go anywhere else. We had previously stayed in a villa for many years but after discovering this apartment and its private plunge pool we decided to give it a try as a change and have never looked back since. It is very unusual to have an apartment with a private plunge pool so would recommend this 100%.

Thanks again Donal for allowing us to have 5 fantastic years staying here, so far.

Fabulous, spacious, clean apt in a quiet area

My friends and I decided to have a holiday in Roquetas De mar as we could drive to it within a couple of hours.

We arrived at the apartment to find it much better & a lot bigger than we had expected. There is everything you need in the apt, you just have to buy your provisions.

It is in a quiet area not too far from the beach (Playa Serena), with big supermarkets/bars, 5/10 mins mins drive away. The grounds and surrounding areas are immaculate.

The pool areas are very quiet and clean and we were amazed that they have two communal pools, one for each block!

The plunge pool however is a luxury. We loved everything about the place.

Will definitely be returning as we just didn't want to leave!

Paul or Donal were always there if you needed any assistance. Excellent customer services. I would without a doubt recommend this property to family and friends, and already have!

The Chirringuito Koral had excellent food & Lilly's bar does a fab breakfast. The best I have had in Spain.

The aquarium is very expensive....

Overall we had a well chilled out holiday to recharge our batteries. Excellent!

Fantastic Holiday!

Having been to Aleria before we chose this villa mainly because of its location and the fact it had a pool. We were not disappointed starting from the ease at almeria airport being collected as arranged. The villa is lovely. Really great size and with Spain going through a heatwave during our visit the air con was a life saver. Having a bathroom to ourselves was a lovely bonus. The pool area was lovely, and the comunal pool was literally 30 seconds away and as in previous reviews very quiet on most days. We did spend most of our time at the pool area every day and often had it all to ourselves.The convenience of being able to nip back to the villa was lovely. We did walk into the nearest town on a couple of occassions, about 15 mins by foot,but due to the heat we used a local taxi firm most evenings costing about 4-5 euros. we used the same taxi to take us to the shopping centre and thios cost approx 9 euros and is well worth a visit. Almeria is lovely and we will visit again for sure. I can thoroughly recommend the apartment and have to say a huge thank you to Paul and Pauline who were always on hand to help with any questions we had,

Appartement trés agréable' trés bien équipé.

Situé dans une résidence calme et trés bien entretenue nous avons passés de trés bonnes vacances.

Je la recommande.

Roquetas de Mar is a very family-oriented resort with a relaxed atmosphere. It is popular with British, German and other nationalities but overall has a predominantly Spanish feel.

Roquetas de Mar has a long and spacious beach stretching literally for kilometres from the port area to the natural park with accompanying promenade alongside. There are 'Chiringuitos' (small beach-front bars/restaurants) along the promenade and comfortable beach beds available to rent at reasonable rates (daily or weekly rates). Due to it's size the beach is rarely crowded even in high season. On the beach there are various water sports (windsurfing, jet-skis, pedaloes, etc). Also in the resort there is a a tourist train ride, bikes for rent, horse and carriage rides, children's play areas, go karting, and a water park. The port area has a marina, a popular pebble beach and numerous restaurants, many offering seafood specialties.

Golf: Adjacent to the Playa Serena Golf course. Two other excellent golf courses are also available at La Envia and Almerimar, both within a short drive.

Ski: The Sierra Nevada mountians are approximately 2 hours drive away.
