Located in a private gated community at Calahonda with direct access to the Luna Beach (blue flag) and beach restaurant, this lovely apartment is an ideal family holiday location. The complex has 2 large pools and 2 children's pools with ample areas for sunbathing. Shops, restaurants and bars, and the beautiful port of Cabopino are all within easy walking distance. A convenient bus service to Marbella, Fuengirola and other local resorts is easily accessed at the front of the complex, for those not wishing to drive. The apartment is comfortably furnished with a large living area including 2 sofas and 2 chair beds. Newly refurbished (2016) open kitchen/dining area with dining table and six chairs, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, mini-fridge and microwave. Large bathroom (shower over bath) and washing machine. Newly replaced air conditioning and heating. Other facilities include WiFi, TV, DVD, with UK TV channels.

Sports facilities: The Costa Del Sol is a Golfers Paradise with dozens of fantastic courses within easy reach, Cabopino is less than a mile away. Tennis is available within Calahonda and Miraflores. Skiing (Sierra Nevadas - Nov - Apr) sailing, diving and all sorts of water sports are all readily available in the area.

amazing beach location

lovely spacious apartment right on the beach. Had a lovely patio which was a great sun trap all day. Ideal for your coffee in the morning and then a pre dinner drink with a view of the med. Shops and restaurants just over the bridge was nice to sit in the square having lunch or a late breakfast. Plenty of room around both pools in well kept grounds. Only draw back is you need to take your own lounger or just a towel to lay on the grass. Although the apartment is right on the main road as you are at the back of the block or at the pool nearest the beach you would not know it was there - although a bonus as you have bus stops for either direction right outside so a cheap way of getting about on your doorstep. Lovely food and cocktails at the beach bar and if you plan on hiring sun beds either go down early or pre book as it does get busy. Work is being done on the beach building a walkway in both directions which will be amazing when it is finished. We had a great stay there and would definitely go back and recommend to my friends and family. Catherine the owner was very helpful and provided great customer service along with Tina from solfinder.

Owner's Response: The walkway in both directions along the beach will certainly make places such as the beautiful Puerto Cabopino, with its great restaurants and bars a lot easier to get to on foot.

Clean, spacious and well appointed property in an excellent location

Property is relatively easy to find - the owner provided simple to understand directions. Access is secure and parking was not a problem in June. All amenities are close to hand so if you are just there for the beach then you won't need your car until the return trip to the airport.

If you are a Lidl fan (as I am) then this is the place to stay - just over the footbridge for an early morning stroll for fresh baguettes and anything else you fancy. Very good quality and value for money if you are truly self-catering.

The appartment is clean and very spacious. The furnishings are entrely adequate for the amount of time you will be spending inside. Air-con very welcome although the appartment is reasonably cool without it.

The small patio area is not very private but fine for a quick sit down while you plan the day. Beach is on the doorstep but the lower pool area was a pleasant alternative.

Local beach front restaurants are really nice and you are only a slow 15 minute meander from Cabapino for a better selection of cuisine.

We love this part of the Costa del Sol and our stay in this appartment did nothing to change that positive view point.

One "minor" gripe - the TV streaming service is awful, not good during the World Cup but probably not an issue at any other time !!!! =;o)

I have no problem is recommending this property !!

Little bit of paradise

24 to 28 June 2018. I have stayed here previously and since then the kitchen has been refurbished. The apartment was spotlessly clean as usual. It is a superb spot with good security; two main pools; the beach and the excellent Luna Beach chiringuito right outside the door. Just perfect.

Wonderful apartment with everything you need !

What can I say, from the minute we walked in it was like being at home. It had absolutely everything you need even down to a shopping trolley. It was only the two of us so I can't speak for the single beds but the double was sooo comfortable with quality bedding.we didn't use the air conditioning much as it wasn't very hot weather (apparently colder than usual for this time of year). It's a lovely cool apartment anyway. We didn't use the dishwasher as it was only us and we only really had breakfast and snacks and ate out. The washing machine was a real bonus. Catherine this is a quality apartment and your pride in it shows. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

The flat was clean and tidy and has a lovely view of the beach out of the lounge window.

We had lovely week and the flat was exactly where we needed to be. We had a problem getting the TV to work (our fault nothing to do with the TV!), this was sorted out the same day by the lovely, very helpful Letting Agents. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment is situated on the beach side of Calahonda, a short walk from local shops, bars, supermarkets, restaurants, beach bars and the beautiful marina of Puerto Cabopino. Malaga airport is approximately 30 minutes drive. Several large towns and shopping centres (inducing Marbella, Puerto Banus and Fuengirola) are only a 10 -15 minutes drive and there are many beaches and smaller resorts, close-by, along the coast. A little further afield, Gibraltar (which also has an airport) and the ancient town of Ronda are an hour's drive away. Within 2 to 3 hours you can reach; Granada, Seville, Cordoba and the Sierra Nevada for sightseeing or skiing. Local buses travelling between Malaga and Marbella stop outside the apartment. North Africa (Tangier) is a short ferry ride from Gibraltar
