ROME ITALY PERFECT VIVA APARTMENT
You can''t be more central at the Viva apartment, with the wonderful Piazza Navona area outside your door. Just minutes walk to the Pantheon and Campo de' Fiori. The apartment is tastefully furnished plus it has the bonus of a small terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee.
We selected this apartment for it's fantastic location that is sure to please because most of the major sites are close, walkable, and the vast array of area amenities with so many restaurants, cafes, great public transpiration option, a supermarket and shopping all nearby.
Piazza Navona is just steps away that can, for some apartments, be a detriment because there is always some activity in the area. But the Viva apartment faces away from the street so is quiet. And its ground floor location is an advantage for access. There are some steps down from the street level.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of a nicely maintained apartment building one block from Piazza Navona. Enter the building an proceed down a corridor, then down 11 steps to the locked front entry gate of the apartment's terrace.
The building is nicely maintained. During business hours the building superintendent can be spotted tidying up the common areas, greeting residents.
The entry is welcoming with an attractive patio with privacy screening and plants. It is set back on the interior of the building's courtyard. The courtyard is not very visible due to the lattice and plants.
The apartment has a sophisticated, calm neutral palette and has the feeling of a luxury, urban hotel suite.
Enter off the terrace into the living room which has a sofa (can be converted to a bed for 1). The dining table folds open with seating for two and an open kitchen. Windows out to the terrace admit light.
The kitchen has an under-the-counter refrigerator, mini-dishwasher, 3-burner induction stove top, microwave/oven combo, electric kettle, Nespresso coffee maker and Italian coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans and dishes.
The terrace has a table and 2 chairs. It is screened off with lattice work. Neighbors upstairs can look down and see onto the terrace. The combination washer/dryer is behind a door on the terrace.
A large sliding door separates the living room from the bedroom. Cleverly designed, the sliding door is mirrored on the side that faces the bedroom. The bed is queen size with nightstands and lamps on either side. Along one wall are built-in closets and a handsome antique dresser provide ample clothing storage. A window to the terrace illuminates the room.
The luxurious bathroom adjoins the bedroom. It has a large trough-style sink, toilet and a big glassed-in shower with rain shower head.

Pat purchased this apartment in 2014
Fantastic location near Piazza Navona.
We loved our modern, cozy apartment a short walk to the Piazza Navona! A great, central location. Apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, large shower (a bit too big for the small bathroom in my opinion), kitchen just used for breakfasts but was well appointed.
Many nice little restaurants around the corner in a "locals" neighborhood, & a grocery store (Carefores) a short walk away). IP team was terrific to work with, and provided great information prior to our arrival. Would definitely work with them again!
We enjoyed our stay in Rome at the Italy Perfect Viva Apartment - the location was fabulous. Check out Cul de Sac restaurant just a walk down the street. Turn right out of the apartment and you're there in 2 minutes. It was one of many restaurants and shops to choose from, just minutes from the apartment. The apartment itself was just right for two people - tastefully done, contemporary, good use of space with plenty of storage to hang your clothing. Took a while to get used to all of the keys and gates/doors to unlock/lock, but no big deal in the scheme of things. Overall, the experience was a good one and we definitely would recommend Italy Perfect and the properties to friends.
The Viva Apartment was a beautiful accommodation. It is exceedingly well located, just behind the Piazza Navona, but on a quiet street. The location is excellent for walking to the principal historic Rome sights. The decoration is first rate and everything works!
In addition to the headliners of Rome (Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Coloseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, Vatican City) all within walking distance, the surrounding streets are full of dining and shopping options.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to any and all. If I travel to Rome again in the future, I will definitely request this apartment.
The location could not be better---about a block from Piazza Navona. There are lots of casual restaurants nearby. The COOP grocery store is a few blocks away. The apartment is located in a nice building. It is very quiet. Lots of building security. Viva has the best air conditioning I have ever experienced---it keeps the temperature constant without blowing cold air everywhere. It is so quiet that I never know if it is on.
The apartment is very well appointed---comfortable bed, good shower, excellent, if small kitchen. We made use of the nespresso coffee maker. Using pods is easier that cleaning out coffee grounds for placement in the organico bin. While we did not do any cooking it appeared that there were dishes for simple meal preparation. The television gets quite a few English language stations. One can watch programs like NCIs in addition to several news stations.
When we return to Rome we will definitely stay at Viva again.
we arrived to be greeted with a welcome pack avery well equipped flat could not be in a better place we had a really good stay
The location couldn't be better. You can walk to most parts of central Rome. The apartment faces the courtyard, so traffic noise is not a problem. The location of the apartment within the building is not so great. It is about ten steps down from the main floor, almost in the basement, and it is quite dark. The owners should provide a couple of good reading lights: we had several rainy days and were not always able to go out, but it was impossible to read in the dim light.
The organization was perfect: reservation, payment etc. went smoothly, and our greeter waited for us in the apartment, although we were late and had not phoned because our British cellphone did not immediately work on arrival at Rome Airport. The greeter explained everything, and she also reserved a taxi for us on the morning of departure.
We tried a couple of restaurants in the neighborhood and would not recommend them. Too much tourist-oriented, and the food was mediocre. Go somewhere away from the tourist areas if you don't make your own meals in the perfectly equipped kitchen. There is a good co-op supermarket less than five minutes away.
We would recommend Italy Perfect, but suggest you ask detailed questions before you rent.
