Awesome Cabin in the Woods!!!

  • 4 of 5

This little gem is about 20+ miles from Blue Ridge, GA. We love being away from the hustle and bustle. The road to get to the cabin is small and at times bumpy and has some steep inclines since it is on a mountain. More adventurous!

The cabin was the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. It was immaculate!! It looked to have had some new renovations recently. They have no cable but it has a box that lets you watch Netflix and Hulu and it has a blue ray box. Who has time for much tv when you are in God's country. The kitchen is equipped with almost everything you'd need. I did wish for a dish cloth to wash dishes instead of the scrubbing brush they have (no dishwasher). The shower is new with beautiful tile work. Two bedrooms in the cabin. The master bed was so hard that my husband and I slept in the other beds from then on. The extremely hard bed was my only discomfort during our stay. There is a nice sized deck out the sliding doors and it has a table with an umbrella with 4 chairs. There is a gas grill and a charcoal grill. If you want lounge chairs be sure to bring them. The deck is about 15 feet off the ground and you can look towards the little creek below. You can hear the creek running from the deck. So peaceful!! Beside the cabin is a path with stairs part of the way. I believe there are about 60 steps and then flat ground to the creek. Down at the creek is a nice picnic table under a sturdy top to keep rain off of you. It rained every day we were there for a little while. I guess that's why everything is so pretty and green here. There is also four adirondak chairs and a place for a campfire. Be sure and bring the bug spray!!

This is a cabin I'd recommend to anyone. We had a wonderful stay.

Things to do: Ride the train in Blue Ridge, eat a cronut at the Sweet Shoppe (get there early they sell out fast), eat at The Harvest, drive all the windy roads, hike to the Swinging Bridge, shop the small towns, see the waterfalls and hike the trails, visit Serenberry Winery, visit Mercier Orchards, and so much more!!

Cozy nice cabin. Had a great time!

  • 4 of 5

Very quite and serene cabin in the woods. The path to the creek needed cutting back some but overall it was all terrific. Would highly recommend this cabin. Ashley was great to work with through the process of reserving and paying for the cabin. She had wonderful recommendations for dining, etc.

Perfect little retreat

  • 5 of 5

I absolutely loved the little cabin. Super cute. Really clean. It is secluded enough for a great retreat but close enough to go shopping in Blue Ridge and Elijay. Define would stay again.

perfect little cabin

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Cozy Creek, which is truly worthy of it's name. It is small, but well laid out and appointed with nice furniture and lush throws. The fireplace was listed as "non-operational" which made me guess that the owner did not want to risk the fire hazard. The bed is comfortable, and the shower in the tiny bathroom is updated. There were a few minor issues, such as burnt out lightbulb in master and blinds in master let in lots of morning light, but overall a great experience. Would definitely book again.

Great, cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

We loved this little cabin! My husband and I stayed here for a couple days between Christmas & New Years. It's in a great location as it was easily accessible to downtown Blue Ridge, but also fun to hikes like the Swinging Bridge and Springer Mountain (a MUST in this area!). We enjoyed the fire pit down by the creek and were happy to have the nice grill. Ashley, the agent, was very helpful, organized and responsive. That said, the shower pressure was pretty weak and the living room had dim lighting as the ceiling light didn't work (unless user error!). Finally, the following info might be included already or in other reviews, but to reiterate there is no cable, just Netflix and Hulu etc. and a DVD/Blu-Ray player (this was pointed out to us). There's no dishwasher either and since we drive a sedan, there's just a bit of trouble on the gravel hill getting in/out of the driveway. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!
