Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths | (Sleeps 6-7)
We are a Minnesota family that enjoys the outdoors. I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, while my wife grew up just outside of Toronto. We met in Dallas in 1988. We have two children and our goldendoodle Webster.
Bill purchased this Condo in 2005
Why Bill chose Big Sky
Skiing has been a part of our family's life for many years. We skied a variety of destination in the Rockies. In 2004 we took our first ski trip to Big Sky; six months later bought Stillwater 1028. We have grown as a family, developed and found new friendships with every trip to Stillwater 1028. Stillwater 1028 has blessed us with the people we have met through our rentals. We have developed friends that live as close as 1/2 hour of our home in MN, and as far away as Germany. The relationships made are one of the many perks of owning this place.
What makes this Condo unique
When we were looking for a condo, I asked that we find a place where we will have views that will constantly remind us that we are in the most beautiful place in North America. When you travel long distances to go skiing, seeing the mountains every waking hour is extremely important; Andesite and Wilson Peaks are impossible to avoid while staying in this condo. This is truly our Heaven on Earth.

Convenient & Cozy Condo, 5min Walk to Lifts
We loved our stay at Bill & Heather's Stillwater (B) condo. The 1br, 2ba + loft was the perfect size for our group of 3, and with a full kitchen, we easily cooked almost every breakfast & dinner during our 1 week stay.
A quick walk up the driveway puts you at the center of the Mountain & Arrowhead Malls and the bottom of Ramcharger and Swift Current lifts. If there's good snow, you can even ski back down the driveway to the building.
We've been to Big Sky several times and would happily stay at Bill & Heather's condo again!
The best part of staying at this condo is the location to the slopes. It's honestly only a five minute walk to the village and lifts. No shuttle bus needed! You also have access to several shops, restaurants and bars, and even a grocery store (albeit a small one). Nevertheless, being that close is worth it's weight in gold! But speaking of the shuttle, it's free so if you want to go "downtown", just hop aboard. We did just that to get to a bigger grocery store and to eat in town a couple of times.
As for the unit itself, we enjoyed our stay there without question.. While not super modern, it's comfortable, cozy, and clean. Bill, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to questions. Check-in and check-out was easy and hassle-free. I'd certainly look to stay there again if coming back to Big Sky in the future!
Ski and New Year
Comfortable property in a good location and Bill was great to work with. I was disappointed in showers (no water pressure and terrible heads) and poor lighting. Not having a hot tub in the complex is another deal breaker for me when skiing.
Cozy Condo Close to Base Area
Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this cozy condo. The unit was clean, well provisioned and quiet. The wood fireplace was great for warming up and relaxing after a long day on the slopes. The location is so close to the base area we were able to easily walk and carry our gear to and from the lifts. I would happily stay here again.
Heavenly Winter Oasis
You won’t find a better place to stay at this price if you are skiing at Big Sky. We had all the comforts of our own home with just a short walk to the lifts, stores, and restaurants. Tv was small, but was it had Netflix and access to Direct TV via satellite. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bonus loft was a BIG plus for our family. Bill was always available to answer questions. We would definitely stay here again!
The condo is not fancy, but comfortable and clean. Bill was responsive to questions and problems. The best feature is how close it is to the lifts. In ski boots, about a 10 minute walk. There is no hot tob on the property.
