I'm renting this property as my timeshare week. We can try to find a week anytime throughout the year, but since it is part of a network the peak times will be harder to get and no guarantees for a certain week, but come to us a with a week in mind and we can see if we can help! There are a myriad of wonderful services and activities are available at this resort. The facilities of all four resort villages are available to every guest. This resort features seven pools, a lazy river, an 80-acre lake with beach and water sports, four golf courses, seven restaurants, two mini golf courses, tennis courts, and much much more. The East Village has two calm and relaxing pool areas plus many villas overlooking the signature Arnold Palmer designed 18- hole championship golf course. The clubhouse features a pro shop and a sports bar with electronic games. Experience it all with daily shuttle service throughout all main areas of the resort. Add award-winning accommodations of every size, a wide variety of resort activities, three fitness centers and multiple basketball, tennis and racquetball courts, and you've got a family vacation value that can't be beat! The spacious air-conditioned villas at the Orange Lake Resort are comfortably furnished, and make for relaxing accommodations. The colorful and airy villa features amenities such as a full kitchen, a dining room and living room area, and a satellite TV with DVD player. Every villa is also furnished with a patio or balcony. The villa can accommodate up to 8 people. Also featured in the villa are a washer/dryer combo and high speed internet access. We also have many other week-long rentals which run throughout the year in the East and other Villages as well. I stayed there for three nights. Upon arriving we ate dinner at breezes café. The food was way over priced and obviously frozen then warmed up. I was disappointed but the service was great and made up for the terrible food. The next night we decided to order food from the restaurant at river village. We were told we could get the food delivered, so we called and they told us they no longer deliver. That wasn't a problem so we just called in our order for pick up. Upon check out I found out we were charged for the one minute phone call we made to order food. I drove over to river village to pick up the food from the bar. There was a bartender, waitress and what looked like a manager at the bar. They were too busy chatting to even acknowledge that I was waiting. When they finished the waitress started to walk away, so I asked her if I was in the first place to pick up my order. She said yes and walked off. It wasn't until she came back and asked the manager to grab my order that I was helped. The manager picks up my order from the kitchen and the bartender decides to finally pay attention and inform her I haven't paid for it yet, although I asked to charge it to the room. The manager returned the food and then brought me the check. Then went back to grab the food. Now it gets worse. I left 8 hanging clothes in the master bedroom closet (totaling over $500). I realized I left it upon arriving home and called within 7 hours of leaving the resort. They told me to follow a email process and I should be contacted in 1-2 days and my items returned. Two days later I called to get an update. Now its been over a week. I've called every 1-2 days to try to get my items returned. I've been hung up on/transferred at least three times. I've been told I'd be emailed or called back multiple times and have yet to be called back. Either someone in the resort didn't do their job and clean the room properly or someone in housekeeping stole my items. I'm extremely disappointed and angry that my requests haven't been taken seriously. It's ridiculous that I've had to call the resort every day to get them to locate my items and still they have done nothing to help me. The customer service is terrible. I would not recommend staying here.
