This home is a special place for us. Coastal living was ingrained in each of us as children. Morgan spent her summers in Gulf Shores, AL, and Tim grew up on the NJ shore. When we married, we knew we wanted to recreate that experience for our own children and this house has been a dream come true for us. We hope it will be for your family as well!

Such a beautiful home. I have rented homes for some time now in the panhandle. Including a 3 million dollar home in Destin. But, this was the best of all.........provided such awesome family memories!

Lafitt Cove Vacation

Property is very nice with excellent views and accessible to a major attractions. Beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are within a few steps. Owners are very welcoming and accommodating and willing to do everything they can to make the trip a memorable and enjoyable experience. Definitely put this property on your must visit list.

Great location, lovely views, plenty of room

Fantastic location. House sits across the road from a quiet section of the beach. View from the front porch is of sand dunes and the water; no development obstructing the view. A covered back porch overlooks a little boat basin and is a quiet shady place to sit when the afternoon sun chases you away from the beach. House has plenty of beach chairs and various toys including a paddle board, boogie boards, and a wagon for hauling lots of supplies the 30-second walk over to the beach. However, there are no beach towels so bring your own. There is a boat dock behind the house and it’s a short 1-minute walk along the dock to Peg Leg Pete’s for a Shipwreck cocktail and some crab claws or a grouper sandwich.

The wi-fi connection at the house was pretty terrible, but the owner was responsive to our call for service and the problem lay with the service provider and not the owner’s equipment. Be aware that wi-fi may cut out randomly which can get frustrating. Upstairs A/C went out during our visit but again, owner was responsive and had someone out the same day to repair it.

Decor is updated and comfortable. The master bedroom is massive with its own sitting area and TV. The other bedrooms are small, but there are plenty of beds to sleep 10+ people. Only two showers in the house, though, so with a house full of guests the bathroom situation could get cramped. House was extremely clean and provided small starter packs of dish soap, laundry detergent, and toilet paper. If you are staying here a week you will probably want to buy more TP and laundry detergent. Kitchen is roomy with plenty of dishes and utensils. House has no elevator so if mobility on stairs is an issue there will be difficulty getting up to the living areas.

We enjoyed our stay at this house and would recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a vacation on Pensacola Beach.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the comments! Both A/C units were new last year to avoid this type of issue, but occasionally stuff happens. Generally the internet is rock solid but Mediacom does have its occasional issues. Glad you loved the location so close to the water and the ambiance of our home. Hope to see you next year!

Great location, comfortable home!

We vacationed with my family (me, my husband and 2 children), my brother-in-law and his family (wife and 3 children) and my husband's parents. We had plenty of room - we decided to give the master suite (huge!!!) to all the children and they had plenty of room and it was ideal "teen" suite...they played video games, stayed up late, etc. and loved it. The home is comfortable and well equipped. The owners contacted us upon check-in to make sure everything was satisfactory, it certainly was!

The location is insane. A quick and easy walk to the Gulf and a fun canal out back where we used the paddleboards and caught crabs and fish! We walked to PegLegs a few times via the back walkway which was so convenient, which you'll understand if you've ever tried to park at PegLegs! We made use of all the balconies for the views of the water and to watch the Blue Angels.

There are beach chairs and other equipment in the garage - so helpful and convenient. No complaints for this rental home, we had a wonderful time! And the Gulf of Mexico never disappoints!!!

It's easy to spend a whole week at the beach, but don't forget to visit Fort Pickens and the Gulf Islands Seashore. Witness this fabulous piece of history and transit through some of the most pristine natural wildlife refuges along the coast to get there!

If you have time, take a mainland tour to the Naval Aviation Museum on board NAS Pensacola and watch a Blue Wahoo's minor league baseball game on the way home! We prefer to cap total occupancy at 13 based on living space.

STREET PARKING NOT AUTHORIZED. If you bring a boat, LEAVE THE TRAILER AT MARINA. Squeezing a boat trailer into the garage is impossible (Your husband can't pull it off - neither can mine). If you require more than (4) vehicles to get to your vacation (We have kids too, we get it), please contact us for parking options that will work for all of us. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a boat. (We speak nautical). We will provide some additional info that could enrich your boating experience. A full copy of the Homeowner's Association Rules will be provided upon contact and must be read and signed upon check-in. We ask that you would treat our home and our neighbors just as you would your own. Parking and rowdy behavior is the #1 cause of tenant friction.
