Four bedroom villa, fully air conditioned within walking distance into Tavira

An immaculate 4 bedroom, villa with beautiful swimming pool, excellent sea views and within easy walking distance to the town centre of Tavira. A fully air conditioned and spacious villa with four en suite bedrooms on the first floor with terraces.

A wonderful location for families and safe for children in probably the nicest neighbourhood of Tavira, Quinta do Perogil is an exclusive and private area with plenty of mature trees and greenery.

The villa has private use of lawned gardens with a commpetition standard putting green, outdoor barbeque area with separate seating, beautiful swimming pool and ample terraces surrounding the villa.

Two large roof terraces on the second floor have commanding views south out to the lagoons and coast of the Ria Formosa nature reserve and north to the rolling hills.

Villa Quinta do Perogil has a newly renovated luxurious interior with four en suite bedrooms, a large, fully eqipped kitchen and dining room and a comfortable living room leading to a glass conservatory overlooking the pool area. The pool has a child-proof security cover. In front of the conservatory and beside the pool there is a beautiful granite table for exterior dining, with an automatic, retractable awning to provide welcome shade!

The living room has leather sofas, a TV with UK channels provided via the internet, DVD player and a laptop provided with wireless internet access.

Two double bedrooms with spectacular uninterrupted sea views from south facing terraces and two twin bedrooms with views north, out to the surrounding countryside.

Eight sun loungers deck the terrace around the pool and there are sun umbrellas, stone tables and seating available by the pool and by the brick built gas barbeque by the kitchen door.

The swimming pool at Villa Quinta do Perogil measures 14 m x 4 m with steps leading into a shallow end of .80 m and a deep end of 1.80 m. Freshwater pool with Chlorine cleaning system. The pool security cover can also helps regulate the water temperature. The pool is serviced twice weekly during summer and once weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and reliable professional. Pool and garden lighting is available.

A superb villa with pool within private lawned gardens and great views just 10 minutes walk from Tavira centre - a real treasure of the Algarve.

This is a wonderful location for families and safe for children. The grounds are fully fenced and gated.

There is a cot and high chair provided. Please let us know if you have any other requirements.

For elderly or less mobile clients, the bedrooms are all on the first floor though there is a bathroom on the ground floor. The walk up hill from Tavira is quite steep.

There are 4 neighbouring detached villas within 40 metres from the accommodation, though the villa and grounds are not at all overlooked.

Easy access by car, with private parking outside the villa. By foot there is one road to cross and then a quiet country lane brings you into the old town of Tavira.

Set in an exclusive residential neighbourhood on a hilltop, as near to Tavira centre as you can get. This is not a rural location.

Within Tavira numerous cafes and restaurants offer an abundance of fresh and local cuisine and a low key charismatic night-life.

Summer season brings some great entertainment and culture to Tavira, offering two open air cinema festivals, street theatre, outdoor concerts and performances for all ages plus some craft, book, antique, gastronomic, record and antique fairs.

Beaches in the area are reached either by charming small ferry boats, aquataxi, miniature train, by foot or by car. The nearest beach, Ilha de Tavira, is on the other side of the lagoon and has beach hut restaurants and bars which serve late into the night. Other quieter beaches are reached within 10 to 20 minutes by car and offer miles and miles of beautiful clean white sand and dunes.

A wonderful environment for small children.

We all had a lovely holiday at the villa. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The outdoor space was fantastic. The children loved the pool and especially loved the use of the inflatables you provide. The fact there was the mini golf and space for football and cartwheels made it all the better !! The prompt service with the issue over the water was appreciated.

I would also like to offer some constructive feedback on some minor issues ;

- The information booklet could provide information on the safe location and instructions for use. It could also have instructions for use of the TV as we initially struggled to get it working. I also found the map of the route to the town useful but it could have been enhanced with a page with a title and written instructions.

- The balcony space on both floors was fantastic but as there was little/no furniture it was little used. It would have been lovely to sit and enjoy the views.

All in all I would strongly recommend both the service and the villa. We hope to return once again enjoy Tavira again.

Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside the property. Due to the possibility of guests being allergic to animal hair, we would rather not allow pets. Changeover times are flexible, though we aim to keep bookings as close as possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless otherwise arranged. Linen and towels, including beach towels are provided. There is a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms. There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks provided for late arrivals. Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.

Perfect holiday Villa

This villa is everything that it says it is plus more, it is located in a close among 2 other villas,on a private estate,the pool is very long and self cleaning,the gardens are big all around the villa. The villa has a homely feel and the interior is of a very high tasteful standard, and even though the lovely old town of Tavira is a walking distance away we spend most of our holiday in and around the villa. The villa is managed by a local company to a very high standard and they provide you with any info you may need, also they are always available if required with a very friendly response. This was our 4th holiday at the villa and we have already booked for next year.

Fabulous villa

Great property. Ideal for extended family holidays. We were 5 adults and 2 kids and we all had enough space with plenty of seating and a fantastic pool area. The addition of inflatables, mini golf and grassed area big enough for football was ideal for the kids. Would definitely return.

Excellent golf courses in near proximity of villa including Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima, Benamor and Monte Rei. Reached between 8 and 18 minutes drive.

Seville is only 1.5 hours drive away and Lisbon is approximately 3 hours drive away.

Tavira and its surrounding area is steeped in history and has many places of natural beauty well worth visiting.

Changeover day is flexible, although we prefer to keep bookings as close together as possible. Generally arrivals after 2pm and departures by 10am.
There is a 300 euro breakage deposit, to be paid at time of final balance. Refunded accordingly, within one week of departure.
Guests will be met at the villa and will have a contact number in case any assistance is required.
