About Sergio or Jennifer Pineda

We love the outdoors and for many years we looked for the perfect place that combines winter and summer activities. We love to ski, but we love the water activities, the hiking and the mountains. Horses are also a favorite.

Sergio or Jennifer Pineda purchased this condo in 2015

Why Sergio or Jennifer Pineda chose Summit County Colorado

From this property you are at the center of a recreational universe. Never boring. You step out into the winter slopes to ski and snowboard or in the spring and summer you fish in the snake river below. The bicycle trails take you through wonderful paths down through the forest and down to Dillon or as far as Breckenridge. The Keystone Horse Stables are only a mile away. And the Lake is one of the most beautiful in Colorado.

What makes this condo unique

Acccesible from many major cities by car, close to all attractions and inexpensive in comparison to many resorts.

Just a weekend get away. The place was nice and clean, comfortable and has a nice view of the slopes.

Perfect Location!

  • 4 of 5

The location of this condo is perfect if you have smaller children going to ski school. It is literally steps away. The condo itself was clean and well stocked with extra blankets, pillows and towels. The kitchen had everything we needed although a full size coffee pot would have been nice. Having a locker was very convenient to store our snowboards. The bedroom could benefit from an overhead light for sure, especially after dark. My biggest complaint would be there was definitely not enough storage space or hooks to hang wet ski clothes. We are a family of four so we used the few hooks that were there, but also every cabinet door, bar stool, and whatever else we could improvise with. Overall, this was a great condo for our week long stay.

Nice Unit and Very Convenient to the Slopes

  • 4 of 5

My Son and I just returned from our stay at Slopeside Condos at Keystone. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was our first time to stay on the Mountain House end of Keystone. If you want more quite and easy to get to it is a great location. The Condo was well equipped, updated and had virtually everything that we needed. The only issue was the lack any closet space, so not to be surprised be prepared to live from you suit case. It really did not end up being a big deal. We would definitely consider staying at this property again.

Nice time in Keystone

  • 5 of 5

We recently rented this condo for a conference in Keystone. We had a very nice time, the condo had a small kitchen, good location, multiple sleeping arrangements, great view and some nice amenities like a hot tub and shuttle service. The bedroom walls do not go all the way up to the ceiling and there are no windows in the bedroom, but that is what I was expecting and it worked fine for two people and one dog. We had no issues checking in or checking out. The unit was very clean and everything seemed to be in good working order. The building was a bit dated but the unit seemed like it was upgraded recently. The Owner was very responsive and helpful before and after the stay. The only downside was that Keystone is totally dead during the off season and there were only about 3 places open for dinner. On the up side the price was very good and the on-call shuttle service was still operating (until midnight).

A few bugs but better than most.

  • 4 of 5

We had lived in the area for 10+ years before we recently sold our home. It was going to be five weeks before we could move into our new place so we needed temporary housing. It was not peak season so the owner gave us a very fair price on an extended stay. First problem was Vail Resorts manages access. Vail hates VRBO so they will create any issue to annoy the renter. Be sure to have owner contact info handy, you might need it. On to the unit. As one bedroom units go it's average size. Everything is new and in perfect condition. The bathroom is large for a unit like this and also newly remodeled. Kitchen was good, new appliances. If you're looking for an oven, there's a toaster oven in an upper cabinet. I should note the walls that form the bedroom do not go all the way to the ceiling so privacy is somewhat compromised. The sofa was a fold out bed and there was a murphy bed but in my opinion six adults would be a bit cramped. The building during our stay was nearly empty and very quiet. I would guess things are a bit busier in ski season. Parking is underground and out of the weather. Lots of interesting hiking nearby.
