Tastefully decorated, efficient, clean, very comfy

The Redstones are easy-going, friendly and pleasant to work with; plus they are quick to respond to every email. They have an excellent rental property; everything you will need is there. Great location; max 10 minute, safe walk to Angel station. Safe part of town. Islington is an excellent part of London with everything you can imagine close by. We had breakfast almost every morning on the patio. Internet was fast, TV had tons of channels, all appliances worked A1. ***** stars in my opinion. 3 restaurants, 2 depanneurs, medical clinic, art gallery, Regent canal system and a Protestant church, all in a quiet neighbourhood right out the front door. I cannot even think of a complaint.

Great apartment in a nice area

We (my wife , my daughter and I) had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is exactly like in the description and the owner (Karen) was very friendly and helpful. Islington was also a perfect area to stay in London so I can definitely recommend this property.

An excellent apartment in the heart of Islington

My husband, daughter and I spent one week at this gem of an apartment in Islington. The apartment is very well furnished and very comfortable. The owners, Karen and Ed Redstone, have thought through every little detail of what one might need. We were warmly welcomed by Ed who showed us around. We know Islington and this apartment is very well located. It is close to Upper Street and the charming Camden Passage with its coffee shops (coffee and cake at Kipferl is not to be missed!) and antique stores. Angel Tube station is a short walk away and there are many buses that go to the West End and Oxford Street. All in all, a great week spent in London. We will certainly be back and hope to enjoy Karen and Ed's apartment again.

Basement flat in Islington.

The property was maintained in excellent order and spotlessly clean. Liaison with the owner/managers was very good, including an excellent introduction to the accommodation, and how everything worked. There was ample equipment if any meals were required, however, we were happy to use the restaurants and hotels nearby. A good shopping centre and public transport was within easy walking distance. We were told the apartment was ground floor, however, we felt it was a basement flat. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Central Apartment

Myself, my partner and my son stayed at this apartment recently. This is our second visit to the property and most certainly will not be the last. This apartment is ideally located in Islington which is very convenient for travel into the centre of London and Islington itself has many amenities to enjoy. It is situated in a quiet street 5 min walk away from centre of Islington. The apartment itself is immaculate, has everything you could possibly want for either a short weekend break or indeed, like us a weeks stay. Every possible convenience is provided for you. There is even a small courtyard whereby you can sit in the sun - this is highly unusual for central London. We much prefer staying here than in a hotel as it is much more relaxed. There is a small but perfectly functional kitchen should you wish to cater for yourself instead of going out to eat. The double bedroom is large and airy. The decor throughout is contemporary and modern with the pull down leather sofa bed in lounge. Even when the bed is pulled out there is more than enough room to sit at the dining table. There are many restaurants in Islington if you do not want to venture into the centre of town every day. All in all this is a fabulous apartment and I would highly recommend it. We have stayed in numerous apartments and hotels in London and we enjoy staying at this apartment the most and would not consider going anywhere else. The owners provide everything you could wish for and are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Comfortable unit in good location

We would recommend this apartment, we have returned to this property several times. The apartment is a clean, well presented and comfortable. It is in a great location for visiting London, near to train and bus services and close to supermarkets and interesting shopping.
