About Becky Armstrong

Davey and Becky live in Jackson village about 5 minutes from our rental properties. we have 3 kids, one in collage and two who have graduated. We are avid skiers and have lived in the Mount Washington Valley for over 25 years. Davey is originally from Perth Scotland and Becky grew up in the North Conway. Davey is a part time musician who plays a variety of instruments and can be seen playing Irish music and classic rock in nearby pubs on the weekends. Becky spends most of her time skiing. acting and welcoming guests to our two cabins.

Becky Armstrong purchased this cabin in 2015

Why Becky Armstrong chose Jackson

We were married in Jackson and always wanted to live here. We bought our first cabin in 2008 and started doing vacation rentals at that time. We loved the business so much that in 2013 we bought a farmhouse in the village and moved to Jackson full time. This year 2015 we had the opportunity to buy the sister cabin to our Ridge Rd cabin and we are excited to welcome more guests to the Mt Washington Valley! Both cabins are located within the White Mountain National forest just minutes from the town of Jackson and many amenities including Storyland, Attitash Mt Resort, Wildcat Mountain and Black Mountain.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin like our other property is the ultimate romantic, cozy log cabin. The property is perfectly located in a quaint New England village, with covered bridges, beautiful Mountin views, great restaurants, only minutes to worls class x-country skiing and some of the best downhill skiing in the east. For the kids, Storyland is only 5 minutes away. The village of Jackson has many amenities which include two golf courses, ice skating, fishing and AMC hiking trails. North Conway with it's famous shopping outlets and incredible dining is only 15 minutes away. The Eagle Mt cabin is on a quiet dead end road and is set back from the road. The wooded view from the front porch is a peaceful oasis in a busy world. Birds and wildlife abound.

Lovely cabin ... Hot tub a treat!

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was great, very much as pictured and had everything you need to cook etc. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and a very rainy day meant we were in more than we'd intended. The cabin was a great place to spend a rainy day though and the hot tub was a really nice touch and so relaxing. The only thing which would have made it a bit cosier would be a real wood burning fire, but the cabin does still have a cosy feel without it. A great location and a great cabin, would recommend highly.

Owner's Response: Hi Emma, We are glad you enjoyed your stay and wish the weather was better for you! If guests request to use the wood burning fireplace we will allow 3 hour logs for burning. We do also have the wood stove which has a visable fire for people to enjoy on a chilly night. We hope to see you again in the future! Thanks again, Becky and David

The home is very clean, nice layout, surprising amount of space, and a great deck off the kitchen. Owners are very nice and accommodating and the location is close to many attractions.

Comfy cabin in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was everything we wanted! Relaxing on the large deck or soaking in the hot tub, reading a book in the sun and enjoying all that the White Mountains has to offer...what a great place!

peaceful, exciting, perfect.

  • 5 of 5

my girlfriend and I stayed here for just shy of a week and we would have stayed even longer if it was not already rented. first off Becky and he husband were the PERFECT hosts. while one or the other were available in the area if we needed anything, after she was there to meet us for a walk-through of the property and show us how everything worked, we did not see her again as the completely respected our privacy. as far as the cabin goes this place is a true log cabin in every sense of the word. the place is amazing. it sleeps 10. easily with plenty of room to spare. with a place as perfect as this and hosts as awesome as them how could we not return. there is so much to do in the Jackson area that we didn't get to do half of what is offered we cannot wait to come back for our second trip....

Car: recommended

In the heart of the White Mountains, Jackson is a beautiful New England town with waterfalls, covered bridges and gorgeous mountain views. The Saco River winds throughout the area and Mt. Washington looms majestically above the village. You can drive to the peak in the summer and climb in the summer or winter. From the top of the mountain you can enjoy the view which stretches all of the way to Canada. Jackson Falls is a site to see, cascading over the rocks into Jackson Village with it's pristine golf course, churches and country shops. This place is magical!
