My father owns this home and I manage it for him. I live in CT and I'm a Realtor in both CT and NY. My husband is a musician and we are both from Saratoga. We have a 2 year old son.
Christina purchased this apartment in 2007
My father wanted a home we could all enjoy when we visit. We enjoy many holidays here. He didn't want a property with a big yard to care for because he would just like to enjoy all Saratoga has to offer. It's just a 7 minute walk to downtown. He is Florida for the summer.
This is a very spacious home, people always comment on how elegant and grand it is. From the high ceilings, to the beautiful wood floors, and the uncluttered furnishings, it's a very comfortable home. Our favorite feature is the porch. We love sitting outside on the porch and people watching and just enjoying the breeze. One of the biggest attractions to this house though, is its close proximity to downtown. It's a seven minute walk, so you're close to downtown, but it's not on top of you. Even when it's not track season there's plenty of things to do, from the farmers market on both Wednesdays and Saturdays and Sundays, to concerts and other events such as the Ballet at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the Dance Museum, Congress Park and the carousel, amazing dining, brand new BTX digital screening movie theatre, boutique shops, golf and Roosevelt Baths at Saratoga Spa Park.
This is a very charming home with lots of Victorian character but with all the modern amenities. The home was very well-appointed, well-stocked, decorated very nicely and conveniently located close to the downtown area of Saratoga Springs. The attention to detail was particularly impressive! Christine was extremely responsive and helpful, although there really were no issues during the stay. There is plenty of room in the upstairs area where the second bedroom is located - just a note, there is no bathroom upstairs and the stairs are just a little steep (fine for most but not for elderly or perhaps small children). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!
Very nice house and very conveniently located. Working with the owner was a pleasure.
Clean, well-situated for downtown Saratoga; nice, light apartment on the upper floor of a townhouse. Spacious and clean. Although just two of us shared this apartment it would comfortably hold two couples with space to spare.
Very much enjoyed our stay. The place is a 10 minute walk from downtown Saratoga, where you'll find many great restaurants and shops. The place is a 30 minute walk from Saratoga Raceway. The house is spacious, well furnished, and very well updated. Fit the 4 of us very comfortably and has room for more. It includes a furnished attic that is very comfortable and is an apt. in itself. The manager was attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!
My husband and I go to Saratoga every year and typically stay at B&Bs. After staying at C's awesome house, we might have to forgo the B&B tradition and stay instead at this adorable, well-located and comfortable house! We rented the house over 4th of July weekend with some friends. C was responsive, thoughtful and went above and beyond the call of duty (I forgot something at the house and she kindly offered to mail us the forgotten items). The house is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked in case you'd like to cook while there.
The house is just a quick 8 min tree-lined walk away from the main street. Super convenient, we will definitely stay here again!
The Farmers Market is every Wednesday and Saturday and is among the best in the region
