Fully furnished quite and cozy 1890's home is newly renovated and is only one block from the Historic downtown Philipsburg. It features 2 bedrooms - 1 queen and 1 full with a twin rollaway bed and a couch suitable for kids. It has a full kitchen and full bath, TV/DVD player with washer and dryer. There is a private backyard with a patio and a large front yard with views of the back side of Discovery Ski Area and the School.
We both were born and raised in Philipsburg and now are raising our children here.
Dave or Becky Metesh purchased this house in 2015
Location could NOT be any better. Walk to anywhere in Philipsburg! Home is so quaint, comfy & clean!! Owners are in contact if you should need anything. Thank you Becky!
My mother grew up in this house and it was nice to be back in her childhood home.
The much needed upgrades to the home gave it a warm and comfortable feeling. The home is close to town, GREAT location.
Dave & Becky are gracious host and we would love to come back again. We would recommend this home to anyone that wishes to stay in Philipsburg or vicinity.
Thank you Dave and Becky for a wonderful stay.
Our family of 3 stayed here over Thanksgiving and had a lovely time. It was very cold in Philipsburg but the house was toasty warm and we had snow in the yard for building a snowman and a little sledding ramp. We brought movies from home to watch but there was such a great selection of kids movies at the home we mostly watched them instead! We enjoyed a quick walk to the candy store and brewery and having time together in a nice, cozy place over the holiday. We will come back and stay again! Thank you!
This was our first rental with VRBO and it was fantastic! The house was clean, quiet, comfortable and in a great downtown location.
We found this house to be the perfect choice! GREAT location and comfy beds. Parking is very convenient.
This house has everything you need when you're vacationing in a small town: the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals/snacks (restaurants close pretty early!), huge selection of DVDs (mainly kids, but there are some good ones in there), comfy furniture, lots of room both inside and out. You're right on the main street, and it's an easy walk to town. The washer & dryer were nice extras that we took advantage of after a couple days of wet, dirty, sapphire hunting (and we found sapphires! Woohoo!). This house is clean and comfy and I would stay here again.
